I have started a grow after getting the book, thinking woah....8 oz. in 70 days...three plants....kick ass, but I have yet to see anyone even come close to his book harvest....Is it a hoax? Esp , no nutes except for MG potting soil........I hope not, cause all said, I dropped about $700 on my new custom closet and CFL scene...not to mention all the fucking time it took to build it, hope it is legit.....I am usually a sun lover.......here is the "p" for suspicious!

what book? "See More"? Never heard of it.

Sounds like a hoax. If anyone could grow 8 oz with a $700 set-up they'd be doing it, but they aren't...

i thought that book was "Buds for Less: Grow and Ounce of weed for under $80" or something. 1/2 lb on cfls seems far fetched

I also got the book, but I am just using it to compare my plants on a day to day basis.

I mean, come on, you can't just expect to have the same weight just because you are using the same technique.
Were you even growing the same strain ?

It just seems like there is a general discrepancy with single plant harvest weights. I understand fully the yield differences between strains. In the book, he averages 2.666 oz. of cured bud per plant with a 8 light 336 watt system, growing one Mango and two Blue Dots ( mango generally on the heavy side yield-wise, and B.D moderate) in miracle grow potting mix with nothing else but PH balanced water. And growing the girls to about 8 inches in height before switching over. No reflective material in the grow space, just an everyday awareness of light proximity.

With that said, I am trying to mimic the book as best I can to equal similar yield results.
It just seems to me that most the attempts with a similar set-up, and yielding genetics, aren't coming close to See Mores, results.....I am curious, thats all. I would like nothing more than my doubts to be crushed by success stories....anybody?

I own the book as well, I believe he achieved such high weight was because of the lighting technique. Throughout the plants whole life, he was placing the lights as close as possible throughout the whole plant, I've never seen anyone do that on forums where the plant was just totally surrounded by the lights.
