In need of a bit of guidance

Hi fellow stoners,
I have just set up my new grow,
I've got 12 cuttings and have just transferred them to small pots last night.
I currently have just 1 600w HPS going 24hours,
If anyone can help me I was just wondering what temperature should I have it at and when should I look at switching to 18/6?
Will follow up with pics.
Any help would be great thanks

~72°-82°f.

24 hours is good for when seeds break soil. You can leave it at 24 for a few days to help with sprout stretch.

18/6 is the traditional standard for flowering. I use a 15/9 veg schedule. Both works. I use the 15 because it mimics a natural day better and gives me better results.

I am assuming all cuttings have rooted already. Normally i switch my lights from 24/0 to 18/6 whenever i feel like they are taking good hold in container but i am not sure if the light is actually even that big of a deal at that time?? Clones did fine on both light cycles from start.

Thanks for the tips,

They seem to of got stronger since I got them Friday, will be transferring them to the bigger pots in the background of pictures Saturday and will have 6 under each light

18/6 for flower?
Unless he got an Auto i thought it should 18/6 for Veg then 12/12 for flower.

Maybe you was a little stoned unless i missed where he said these were auto's ;)

My girlfriend phoned me and said the tips of the leaves are slightly curling and the edges of the leaves are going a lighter colour green does this sound like light burn to youse?
I am on my way home from work as soon as I'm back I will post photos.

Lower leaves yellow says lack of nitrogen to me.

Yellowing leaves close to harvest might not be a bad thing though. Early in veg/flower, then yes its a problem.
In veg N is needed very much so, in flower its needed less.

Hope that helps.

Dont worry about the leaves that are already affected, need to make sure the problem doesnt arise in new leaf growth.
Seeing new growth without the problem usually means you have somewhat corrected the issue,
