Industrial plant I believe is the name. It's auto and has like 1:2 ratio thc/cbd may be something better out now I've been out of the loop for a while .... Just a fyi a lot of the over seas cbd only oil is made from the stalk / stems of industrial hemp I believe they press it out

Not an auto but I just got some seeds of Candida CD1
THC: 0.3 to 0.9%
CBD: 10.6 to 20.9%
Just a strain for you to think about if you can't find an auto with the CBD levels you desire.

That sounds like a good one, I saw that strain online. I'd like to follow your grow, is that possible?

Hey guys, Ive been searching for medicinal strains for to treat a couple of kids with autism , a friends brother with cancer, a mate with anxiety and a friends mum with parkinsons....
Candida-cd1, leads the pack for HIGH CBD LOW THC, and plenty of 3rd party lab tests to back it up.
I have also found a number of other strains available too.
With so much info and choice out there, I have just put my findings together and created a webpage.

I wasn't planning on growing the Candida just yet as I just planted four seeds. Unfortunately one of them hasn't popped so if it doesn't in the next day or two I'll replace it with a Candida so I have four plants. Grow journal in my signature.

Grass o matic Med GOM 1.0

I grew two in an outdoor grow this summer. About 9 ounces dried buds from two plants and nice mellow result from canna oil. No lab tests on the stuff. The breeder says 5%THC:15% CBD. I'm curing buds and won't have a smoke report for another month or two.

What do you mean, fell on their face ?
well in the market >here< there is zero demand for CBD flower, or its so low its not worth the time. HQ( harlequin)was on selfs for like a month(yrs ago); then the units just stacked up. people were begggin to get rid of the units. the only person I know putting down SF for CDB flower is up north.

for the people who REALLY use CBD for relief, realized the syringe/pens were far better way to medicate.

on a side note, I really didnt like how CBD was brought to market; they though it was a good poster for legit medication, but really alll it did was give legal cannabis oppositionist an argument for low THC and/or regulation.

im not saiyng CDB's are not any good or have no merit, just that most first time buyers never did agian.

I have perhaps a different perspective. The stuff on the market these days is too strong for me. The high THC stuff just wastes me and counter to other people's experiences,, messes up my sleep. I'm finding the higher THC:CBD ratio smooths that out. I like a decent but coherent buzz. I also really love waking up after a good night's sleep. Also, I like to grow my own. I don't buy from dispensaries, use a pen or vape. Edibles or bong for me.

I get what you are saying however. It was an interesting read about the market. .

its wayyy to strong for me as-well , I rarely smoke; let alone concentrates.

lower THC, yet still good smelling/tasting is important. what fun is getting together with your friends when after one bowl your all to wasted to....do anything but ask to "pass the Cheetos"
there is a better experience to be had in recreational use.

you are not alone, a lot of people ask "what is not so strong" that doesn't mean leaning towards sativas, they can give you a strong cracked out-head high. it still means something not so strong

I don't mind smoking a well cared for cured mexi. take that level, and make it taste like some of the fantastic F2 punch or DJ short blue berry or whatever; and I think you got a winner.

TGA has a couple of strains that are 1:1 @ ~15%; pennywise and hurkle. They also have a new strain, deadlights, that is supposed to be much higher in cbd and lower in thc.
I looked at it. Sounds interesting. Breeder test results were about 1:20, THC:CBD, 1.19% THC. That's really low THC from what I understand? This is what a medicinal user would want, perhaps? I'm no expert, just a recreational user and a lightweight at that.

I'm not a very experienced grower. Last year, my first, I grew a really strong Indica photo period strain but ended up having to cut it early even though the breeder specs said it should finish by the end of September. Seed started Apr 15, went in ground May 15, Harvest Sept 30. It wasn't really ready, trichs were mostly clear, calyxes weren't swollen. I pulled them due the onset of spots of bud rot and forecasts for the crappy weather that began at the end of September in my parts (Willamette Valley) in 2016. It really needed about 3 weeks more of good growing conditions beyond that. Very potent but I spun around like a top if I took more than a single hit. The edible high was more manageable but I found I wasn't getting restful sleep. It's just too speedy for me. Probably because I harvested early

I ended up with about 6-7 pounds or 60 years worth of weed at my rate of consumption from the legal 4 Mastodon (Oregon Green Seed) plants. The smoke was great. Of course all my friends have been gifted with as much as they want. They really like it, so no problem giving it away. This is part of the fun for me.

My rate of consumption is about 1 ounce a year. I simply don't need much. I decided to rethink my home outdoor growing garden. And so, this year I tried something that still had enough to give a buzz but reportedly has enough CBD to mellow the high out. Autoflower high CBD/low but still enough THC seems to have been the answer for me. Started seed May 15, in the ground June 1, harvested September 3. Plants were not huge and yield was about 3-4 ounces per plant (2 plants). Smells good. I'm a good month or two from smoking it. Most went into oil for edibles, which I'm really liking.

I might pony up the bucks for lab analysis. It would be nice to know exactly what I'm smoking and eating. Then again, if I like it, who cares.

All of the marketing and oil, syringes, dabs... That's all alien to me. You can probably guess why. I was interested in CBD strains for several reasons and those are for other conversations. I'm very interested in how the buzz is. I hate being too stoned like you spoke of. Thank you for your insight. I see greener grasses.... Sort of speak
