In the market for a hydro system

Hey everyone, Im just finishing up my second season of growing outdoors of some SSH and some Purple Haze seeds that my dad had conditioned for 5 years "yea i know a long time but they sprouted," and am now in the mood for some hydroponic experimentation. Right now im looking at a few Deep Water Culture "DWC" kits and another combo unit that uses a water pump and a bubbler. Im only looking for a single maybe double site hydro unit. I don't have to worry about lighting, as i have HPS, MH, and floro tubes. My price range is around 100 bucks total with shipping but am willing to spend more if need be. What would you guys recommend? I also am looking for a kit that will allow the most rapid plant growth. "if possible in my price range"

Any particular DIY instructions you would recommend? Im good with all types of tools and have lots of extra parts, pumps, fittings, etc.

I think im gonna hold off on anything till tomorrow when i head over to my local hydro shop. The lady is very nice in there and she might quite possibly give me a discount of some sort. I believe she has all the separate parts i would need to build my own at a fraction of the cost. Hardest thing to get it seems to be is the net pot for the 5 gallon bucket.

Im either gonna build my own from scratch, or buy a setup from my local hydro shop. If her prices are as good as online i will definitely buy, simply because that cuts out shipping costs for me : P and mudd, do you have a detailed tutorial on how you made that sweet setup?
