In your opinion, what makes a good smoke?

Sadly I must admit after over forty years of smoking weed, there are only a handful of times I recall smoking outstanding weed.

So what does a smoke have to have for you to consider it a good smoke?

My preference is an uplifting smoke, I'm not crazy about most of the indicas around today, they generally make me feel sluggish after a couple of hours. Good taste is a must. Good smoke without good taste, just feels incomplete. My third factor would be looks. Most of the bud today is greenish, and I have this hankerin' for some nice gold or red bud. My next grow I have a predominately sativa strain called Malawi 99, which is a cross of Malawi Gold and Cinderella 99. It is supposed to take on a golden hue and so are her buds.

What do you look for in a good smoke?

smokes smooth, i like a good couchlock buzz or stone myself.a good example would be nirvanna snow white,buds look like there frosted white with snow.i have actually been stoned with only smoking the leaves off this strain .very mellow ..........

Woo said it for me. Its gotta go down smooth. I like the tastes of pure kushes, Real purple kush, or OG.

first of all.. i think good bud should look good.. some real dank, i could put a frame around it and hang it on my wall.. i also like a good sativa buzz.. something that picks me up and makes me want to do some work.. and i think it should also have a nice odor to it.. it doesn't have to be overwhelming, but something that hangs in the air nicely.. and lets not forget about taste.. a nice bud should linger in my mouth on the exhale.. i agree wth someone above who said that a good bud is lacking something if it just doesn't have that good taste to her..
