incubators...

I am currently using the top of my Direct TV DVR tuner as an incubator...my jars are staying nice and warm. I plan on making a TiT incubator...but I am currently snowed in. We just got 6 inches by noon...In my neck of the woods folks act like its the end of the world....SNOWPOCALYPSE....better get yer bread and eggs...who fuckin knows why, Ive got ribs in the slowcooker!!!:blsmoke:

Anybody else ever done this???:eyesmoke:

Yes, I did think about the overheating issue....But I do have them elevated slightly off the tuner. This is just a temporary fix. It very cold around here and if I turn the room temp above 72, my family starts complaining that its to hot.

And about Direct TV...if you lived where I do, you wouldn't complain. Our local cable company is the fucking worst in the nation. Not that I watch the bullshit on MTV, but my entire teenage life, our cable provider didn't have MTV because it was deemed "inappropriate"....WTF? And this was before the BS thats they broadcast now. This is when they still played videos....

Do you keep your house between 65-75deg? If so, dont use the incubator and just leave them on an open shelf somewhere. Heaing them in that manner will lead to more issues than it will solve.
