Hi People

I wasnt confident in growing aeroponically but i really wanted to try to see what type of results i could get, as i have seen and heard so many people say that it is the fastest way to grow.

The Plan was to have 4 Tables and to have them running Al B Fuct Style where i could have a perpetual harvest.
I thought i would start with one and see what type of results i would get.

I have started to experience a few issues and am about to scrap the Aero Grow.
If i cant fix the issues within a week, i will take them out and stick them into a pot with some Floc or Coco. That will teach them!

I thought i would post here and see if some of you guys and girls with experience with Aero Grows may be able to Help.

I Cloned them around the 1st of May.
I then stuck in the Aero Table about the 18th May.
I should of put them in earlier as they had plenty of Roots but thought i would let them get fairly strong as i have heard its important with the Aero Grows.

They did Really well untill the end of the Month and then over night they got ugly.
I changed the Res, and thought they would improve.
Instead they continue to get worse.

I think there on there last legs now.
Thats why i will pull them out soon if no one can suggest a solution

I really want to keep the Aero Grow going. ( Hope someone can help )

I am using Canna Nutes ( Including some Rhizo )
I Leave the pump on 24 hours.
Ec at about .8 (800ppm)
Ph between 5 - 6
Water Temp 26 degrees celsius
1000 watt HPS is Lighting them currently but if i were to get the 3 other table i will replace the 1000 Watt with two 600's.

Looking forward to some sugestion and tips......Help me save the Aero grow

Any Questions and sugestion welcome.

If i can get this batch out alive and healthy i will get 4 tables running like clockwork.
If this fails the AERO Grow gets canned.

ok.. for that stage.. 800 ppm is way high in aero.. i keep mine at about 350.. ppm are about 6.1 and water temp around 70.. it looks like lack of water and an OD of nutes.. I would flush immediately.. are you using RO water?? your roots look ok which is a great thing... as long as they are healthy.. u have a good chance of the plant surviving ..

Thanks for the tips Drip & dpagano,

I will flush and get the ppm down to 350 and add some Cannazym tommorow.

I had the temp set at 28 degrees celsius which is about 82 fahrenheight.
I lowered that down to 21 degrees celsius - 70 fahrenheight Immediately.
I also added some water and dropped the ppm to 700.
When i checked the ppm today i found it was sitting at 1000ppm.
So it was definitely way too high.

Ill make those changes tommorow night and take some pictures before and after...... Hopefully see the improvement.

I dont currently have a timer, so the pump is on 24 hours.
What cycle times do you use?

Thanks guys.

Lmao 800! Mine are full grown and I keep them at 850 ppm max lol...
You gota realize w aero these things take up alot of water, more than any system, and while taking the water up the nutes go w it. Very easy to overnute in aero so be careful. Pump stays on 24/7. Also water temps a must but doesnt seem to be your problem. Id flush w water for a few days then add low nutes. I beleive they say 100 ppms per inch of plant while growing but in aero cut that in half i put my clones in mine around 400 ppm. Good luck.

Also I seen you getting bashed on that lacey lemon thread or sum shit dont sweat it some people are just ignorant.

Yeah definetly over nutrients, I have found running clone feed schedule all the way into week 2 of veg. I use RO water, House & Garden root excel, clonex, superthrive. thats it. what are you using as far as nutes go? some of my pics, I have 3 flower rooms, 1 veg/clone/mother room, 1-1000watt HPS liquid cooled on a track doimg up to 40 plants per room. I harvest 2-3 lbs/month with the white queen strain I have had for a while. my advice is to keep it simple, less the better especially in veg they will strive more and be healthier

I dont use cal-mag untill I have a strong root structure, clonex, superthrive, root excell is all I use and get at least 90% success rate, but I also cut my clones with a few tricks and also trim the edges of large leaves.

Hi people

UPDATE:
I have flushed the system once, then i flushed it again yeterday with Plain water.
I added Superthrive and Rhizotonic ONLY.
Ph : 5.8

Today i check the ph and it way 6.5......
How can the ph jump so much overnight??
Anybody?

Anyhow, i have started to see improvement in the little guys.
I hope they look even better tommorow so i can start them on there last Veg Formula. They are already a little big for the system.
I want to Flip them to 12/12 this Friday.
3 Days of Veg to Go.

Finally purchase a digital timer so i have installed that tonight and set a watering schedule of 1 minute ON & 5 minutes OFF.
Also got a new Ph pen

Ph jumps cuz of nutes. one you should check ph an hour or two after nutes are added it changes. Also if theyre taking up more nutes than wats added ppms will rise if they take up less nutes than wats added theyll ddrop. Check your ppms see if they changed. IMO. Ph fluctuation is good plants take in dif nutes better at diff phs. Try to keep it between 5.2 and 6.1 tho.

Hey Drip,
I understand what your saying but i had not added any nutes other than 1mil per 4 Litres of Superthrive and 1 mil per 4 Litres of Rhizo.
So i wouldnt think the ph would fluctiate so much overnight with almost Zero nutes.
I will check again tonight and see what going on.
Im hoping to add some Vega A & B so it can have 2 days of Vegging Nutes before i flip them to flower on Friday.

Do you think the timer ( Water cycle 1 Min on 5 Min off ) will make a big difference?
It was like $250 dollars.......

Thanks for your help.

Hey people,

I disconected the timer and have the pump running 24/7 as of last night.

Im really not happy with there improvement.
Im going to take them out and plant half of them in Flock and the other half in Coco.

Im going to pull apart the system and try to improve it.
I wont set up the Aero again until i have my new seeds

Im giving up the Aero untill i get everything else under control.

I will have pictures of the transplant tonight.

Thanks for your help people.

You built your system?
i Went to the hydro store and asked him to order me an aquamist system.
Like the one from the See Moore Buds Video.
Im in Australia and cant get one.
He told me an Aero system would be better so i told him to build it for me.

Guess i should of got the Aquamist system.....
