Indica or Sativa? Week 3.

Seeds were grown in fox farm and added vermiculite from multiple unknown midgrade strains.

Week 3 and plants range from 4-7" in height. Lights on 18 hrs. Lights are a few inches from tops and sides. Temp and humidity are close to ideal (73 degrees and 40% on average)but not easy to control in this set up. Using 3 t12s, 2 t8s, and 2 t5s. Using what I have. Not spending any money at this point. I'm very cheap. What I'm hoping for is that most of these girls stay short and give me anything I can smoke for free.

So what characteristics should I be looking for AT THIS STAGE in determining indica or sativa?

Should I prune the top leaves yet?

I know this is off subject but...Thats a badass camera you're using. Great detail!....What kind is it?

Forget trying to identify what these plants are - you won't do it. I can tell you what it isn't though and that's a pure breeding Sativa. In all likelihood they're a cross or hybrid of Sativa and Indica how much of each are in the cross is impossible to tell.

Forget trying to id them and focus on growing them to the best of your ability - not bad looking plants.

The indica has wider leaves than the finger looking sativas.
I agree with babygro it looks like you have a cross somewhere in between the two.

I sure hope they have some indica genetics. Like I said I'm looking to keep them short. Maybe 3-4 feet at the end of flower cycle.

Another 10 days and throw them into 12/12? Or wait until I can determine genders?

What's up with the top leaves from my last pic? No other plant resembles that. Too much nutes? Transplant shock from last week?

I use a digital camera that was under 100 euros new.
