Indoor autoflower grow(AK-47xLowryder)

So I am starting a grow with an autoflowering strain called Easy Ryder(AK-47xLowryder) from Attitude Seedbank.

I have a 600watt eye hortilux enhanced HPS and I'll use a 20 hour on 4 off schedule for the entire grow. I think I'll use flourescents until the first true leaves show at around 9-10 days, maybe sooner.

My trouble is that I can't decide on nutrients since the feeding schedule is different then normal strains. I was thinking of using Canna Bio Vega and Flores along with their Bio Canna Terra medium, a pro-mix or a fox-farm mix. I thought I cold use some canna rhizotonic and then cannazyme at first to simulate the roots along with Vega unil signs of flowering show. Then I could switch to Flores with some Bio Boost for increased yield. Also I was considering using Mayan Microzyme for the beneficial critters and what not. Each seed is going to be germinated and planted directly into a 2 or 3 gal pot.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So I've decided on BioCanna nutrients along with Canna Rhizotonic, Cannazyme, Voodoo Juice, Scorpion Juice, and Mayan Microzyme. I'm using Happy Frog Soil from Fox Farm for my medium.

I decided to start feeding with low dose Rhizo and Flores(I heard that the extra Phosphorous and Potassium helps stimulate roots) so I can get some explosive roots going before I start with the Vega. I'll continue with Rhizo when I start he Vega until the plant is sexed then I'll start with the Cannazyme and Voodoo Juice and by then I may be moving into the Flores department with a light Vega for extra Nitrogen.

Any suggestions or comments would be appreciated.

I almost forgot. I also decided to leave them under fluorescents much longer than I originally planned. Putting 10 day old plants under a 600w hps is crazy, idk what I was thinking!! I'm going to give them closer to 3 weeks under fluoros before I bring in the heat, lol. They should be nice and bushy by then and capable of handling all that light.

Again suggestions and comments are much appreciated.

KEEP IT CLEAN, KEEP IT GREEN!!!

Thanks man :)

I don't have pictures yet cuz I haven't got things started yet, and i'm trying to get ahold of a good digital camera so I'll have some quality pics. I figured people would be more interested that way and it'd be easier for them to see any problems my plants might have. I liked how you had a lot of good pics in your journal. It makes a big difference when people can see exactly what's goin on, so I'm aiming for the same thing.

Anyhoo, the fluoros I'm plannin on using are four foot 36 watt warm white, I think. It's like one of those ballasts that are in office buildings and grocerie stores and stuff. It's pretty bright, hopefully bright enough, lol.

What do you think? Do I need more fluoros, or will that last them til I can change to hps?

And to answer your other question I am starting with 3. I got a 5 pack of fems so I figure I'll germ 3 and use them like test plants. I'll use the same nutes and additives with all three but in different ways to see what works best so when I germ the other 2 I'll have a good idea of what works best for them :) and if I get a male I can hopefully breed them and I wont have to order more seeds for a while.

Also I got one free Fem Blue Venom & one Fem Pure Gold with my order so I I'm going to try and grow those into mothers and start cloning for my next project.

is that gonna be one 36 watt 4 foot tube? well technically the plant goes into the vegetive period straight away, you need to get as much cool white onto your plants as possible, the blue spectrum is best for this period of growth, after about 16 days or so you can change over to the HPS....or just whenever you see the first signs of flowering..

If you want a guide by how much wattage you need, aim for around 6000 lumens per plant, this will make sure you get a meaty harvest! :D

good idea with the camera....its best to get a real good one, they are an invaluable tool when making a good journal

No it's two 4' foot tubes side by side in one fixture. Cool white and Soft white are the ones I've heard the best about. Something about using both of them together to get a fuller spectrum. I'm not completely sure. I know I need a grip of blue spectrum!! Thanks for the help bro :)

If you want to get some real good info you should check out this Uncle Ben guy on here, and born2killspam. They are awesome!!

72 watt sounds sufficient for getting the seedlings going......ive done 3 proper grows discounting another 2 tries which ended in complete failure.... and my results for yield and overall quality in growing ae coming up leaps and bounds, although i think when it comes to the advanced side of nutrients and stuff i kinda leave it to nature, maybe one day when i get a sweet setup i might get serious on it all :P but goodluck to ye :eyesmoke:
