Indoor Closet Grow

this is my first attempt to grow but ive done alot planning and put quite a bit thought into this project. i havent even started the grow im waiting on my seeds from Herbies Head Shop. but my setup is in the top portion a closet and only the top portion its about 4x4x4. im going to be using two 24'in CFL grow lights suspended by chains and this whole project is completely discreet. ive been able to place "dummy" boxes and books infront of the pots to make it seem like a closet full of junk. should i use a fan to add some ventalation? or will daily tending be good enough for that? and all the fertilazer will be organic aswell as some additives.. should i still use a chemical additive to maybe boost growing?

Plants need three things to live. Water,light/sun and air. Tending to it while being fine is risky. What happens if you happen to be gone????? Timer maybe? Get some exchanged air movement goin in that space. Fans and all the hardware to run are very inexpensive and handy thoughts can possibly make it free. Dialing in that space is what i'm going thru at the moment with a new Cabinet I built. It is 24"deep by 4' and 66" tall. So that with a HID lamp 400 watts I have the room.

I am building a seperate small compartment underneath for seedlings vegging and the main chamber up top for flowering ladies. I am planning on 5 MAYBE 6 plants up there to finish out in. Does that even come close to sounding like "logic" to you?? Do you think that space is big enough for 5-6 finished? See ya never know maybe we can help each other and others get this obstacle cleared.lol Lemme know how things go.
Cheers,

Seems like you got a nice grow space in your cab. You definitely need some air circulation in there. CFL's dont get as hot as HID's, but still something to watch out for. As for how many plants, I would first consider how many watts those two CFL 24" will be giving off.
I'm still a first time grower, but from what I have read, 100W is good for one plant, and an extra 20-30W for each additional plant. Hope all goes well for you! Keep us posted on your setup, and post some pictures?

so unfortunately for me my indoor closet grow due to privacy issues will only be able to house sproutings, rooting clones, and maybe one or two full sized plants ill have to grow outdoors until fall or winter when the privacy issue will diminish. growing season here is about 10 days after 4/20 go figure lol and i have a pretty niffty spot for my plants outdoors. the only issue i have with my closet grow is reaching the very top of the closet for installation of the lights ill need to invest in a stepstool.
