Indoor grow/White Widow/Light Question

I am going to be growing one feminized white widow from seed in my closet. I'm on a budget.

I've read tons and tons of websites. But they all suggest so many different things.

On a budget, what is the best light I can use?

Someone suggested that I use a 20-10-10 soil until my flowering stage where I would then use some sort of "bud booster" for my plant.

I'm just a little stressed. There's so much different advice. Right now, since I am on a budget, I am not really concerned with everything being super perfect but I just need some advice on how to get a decent grow from this one plant that will be my baby.

I'm so new at this. Please forgive me.

You don't need to worry about soil. Get a nice bag of some kinda potting soil, miracle grow coil will boost it. Put the plants on a light 24 hours a day. They love the light, its a plant from the middle east. Just remember to water EVERYDAY when they are babies. They can't soak up a lot of water, so they can't survive to long without it. If you've got good soil, at least 50 if not 100w or more of light, water, a big pot, and good care. Your plants will turn out perfect. A good flowering cycle is 12/12.

Check out my blog http://www.finshaggy.blogspot.com I've got some goin from some seeds I got from some pretty dank corn while living in my home state down south. I'll post pictures eventually.

I'm not sure which kind of soil I should buy. I am trying to gather things up but I am stressing myself out from trying to figure out what is going to work. Will Miracle grow or something work? Or should I use an organic potting soil and give her Miracle grow plant food after 12 days? I have been reading through hundreds and hundreds of posts on here. Everyone suggests something different. I don't know what's good to start out on.

Dont over complicate this....its really quite simple. Get yourself a nice size pot (3 gallon maybe) Get yourself some mild miracle gro for now however that 20-10-10 ratio soil you mentioned will work great as well...i have personally tried miracle gro and it vegged my plants quite nicely!
Ok moving on, go to home depot and get yourself some CFL lights (very cheap) get what you can on your budget.....You will probably want to get a ph tester starter kit as well...i think there like 20 bucks... but you will need it to PH your water (VERY IMPORTANT)
Buy a cheap fan from target or something...and id say your good to go for now... that along with the advice finshaggy gave you should get you up and runnig! although i like to run my lights 18/6 because the plants seem to respond nicely to there 6hr nap i think they need rest for the following day...but that is more of a preference type of thing.
Good luck

there are so many different ways you gotta find something you like go with the flow, biggest concerns would be soil drainage, and overfeeding. it sounds like you are just starting out so dont go crazy. try and keep a journal or calender so you can keep track of things. and like scoopdizzle said, you always got your riu pals to ask for help. the hard part is figuring out wich advice to use. i can recomend getting the cervantes grow guide that helped me learn alot.

and if you can afford it go with a hps for flowering. definatly pays off in the end. since its only one plant i take it your going to be vegging for a little while so you will be able to learn from experience wich is better than any book can do. (you just gotta understand the food/water/air/light all play an important role and youll be grrreat)

When first out growing there is so many peeps telling you to do one thing and another lot saying do another,i will help where i can you will need a ppm/ec.cf meter these are realy important and have doubled my yeilds. Also the nutes you need something you can trust canna or advanced are the best two in my eyes and i have tried them all.Has for lighting there is no light that will come close to a 600 hps most new growers dont get this has a 1000 is alot brighter, but with that comes problems of heat and this means you have to keep the lights further from the plants causeing streching where has a 600 allows you to have the light realy close to the tops this will in turn give you a far better yeild.Buy a soil that has not got to much woody materail in it a potting soil is idael go with a 70% soil and the 30% perlite wont hurt to through a few clay balls into the mix too make sure you rince them though till the run of is clear. If i was to advice one nute for soil growing it would be advanced all the time get veg for the 1st par then bloom for the 2nd big bud for wk 2 of flowering and overdrive for 7 on wards i do mine in flower for 10 wk so if you wanna do them fastre then overdrive will be needed to be addd earlyer. But if you do rush and miss out them last 2/3 wk alot will be lost weight wise.I use these nutes my self so has long has you tell me what wk you are in i give you per ml messurements..................tyke
