Indoor/Outdoor Growing Help!

Ok so i germinated a couple seeds now they are on their way of growing. Since i have no artificial light at the moment i take my plants outside to get sunlight every morning but its not enough so i think...heres my main question is it ok if i put them outside to get enough sunlight per say 12 hrs but its not enough is it ok if i bring them in give them the remaining light they need with artificial once i get one?? So i read that they need atleast 16 hrs of light per day...much help is needed as these are my first plants. Thank you for your insight!!!!

I don't think is good to be changing the environment of the plant every day, you better grow her indoor or outdoor but not both.
