Indoor/Outdoor Season Journal

Decided to spend a little extra money and go with easy ryder. Autos definitely have their place. I've seen a lot of people say you lose potency, but the little bit I got from low girl is about as good as anything you can by off the street around here. I don't know if I'd ever grow them indoors, but being able to get 2 harvests in before my other plants even finish has its advantages. I think with my little bro helping me out we can do much better than just an 1/8 this time. Ordered friday morning during the promo, so they should be here by the end of the week. Time to find a sunny, secluded spot and start digging some holes.

BTW it says up top I pulled low girl at 5 weeks. Must been a typo I actually pulled it at the end of week 7.

Nice, I like the idea of being able to throw auto's outdoors and not have to wait forever to harvest. I'll be follow that grow for sure.

Don't get short rider if you want a true auto lol.. Not really short by any means either. I'll be happy with it if I get decent smoke though!

Damn I love when seeds arrive! I'm like a little kid at Christmas. They came really fast this time. Only took 6 days. Actually, only 4 days if you count Sunday and the 4th of July Monday. 3 Easy Ryders along with the 3 Kannabia promo seeds and the Magus Motivation UFO. The Easy Ryders immediately went into the wet paper towel. All the beans, including the freebies look awesome. Really large and look healthy. Not sure yet, but I think I might just go ahead and start a new thread for these Easy Ryders.

As for the other girls, nothing new to really report. Seems like they've been vegging forever. Not very exciting. Hopefully I'll be handsomely rewarded come fall with all this veg time, haha.

It's been so hot and dry here lately, watering has been killing me! Usually take 2 gallons out with me then fill the jugs back up a couple times at a pond a little ways away. They've each been getting 2 gallons about twice a week with this heat, so it takes a few trips. Wasn't too sure about using pond water, but it seems ok. There are frogs in it and also notices some little catfish swimming around, so the water can't be that bad if they are surviving. It's strange, I never remember there being catfish in there when I was a kid. Someone must have put them in there. They are calling for some rain this weekend so hopefully I can catch a break from this watering routine.

I have to work fast since I've been going out either really early in the morning or at dusk to beat the heat, so no new pics yet. I'll try to get some up soon for you guys who've been sticking it out with me. They all look really good and are starting to get HUGE. Biggest 2 are probably close to 6'. The Purple has slowed down it's verticle growth a little and is really filling out nice. It has white preflowers all over it, I think it might actually start flowering soon. That's when the fun begins and I'll be sure to update regularly.

Glad to hear the seeds got there fast! I ordered mine on sunday, I'll be suprised if I get mine tomorrow. This is my first time through attitude so I'm looking forward to getting it.

Damn 6'!! There going to be monsters!! You should make a new thread for the easy riders, you could always drop pics in here too. So you picked up fem ER's?

Don't want to count my chickens before they hatch, but if all goes well it should be a pretty good year.:blsmoke:

Yup I went with fem Easy Ryder. It's a cross between Auto AK-47 and Lowryder #2, which sounds awesome. All 3 cracked within 24 hours and are in soil already.

I made a slight error with my choice though. The description said 7-8 weeks, but the little packet they came in has some info on it and it says that is just the flowering time. They actually take 10-11 weeks from seed. It's not that big of a deal though, still have plenty of time, but I wanted something that finished a little sooner. Every grow journal I read on Easy Ryder said they finished in around 70 days, so I'm not sure. If the breeder says 10-11 weeks I'm going to assume that is the case unless I see otherwise.

That does sound like a great cross, can't wait to see how they turn out. 10-11 weeks still isn't bad, shit I'm going on 7 and don't see any sighns of sex lol.. If I would have went easy rider I would have been close to harvest! That kind of makes me a little angry but hopefully the long wait will pay off! Anyway I'm looking forward to seeing these babies take off, good luck!

Got them in today, less than a week!! I'm impressed!
Yeah they are usually pretty quick. I ordered friday morning, which would be the afternoon there, and they still got them out the same day for me. What did you end up ordering?

-G 13 Labs-White Widow Fem. & Pineapple Express Fem
-Reserva Privada- Kandy Kush Fem.
Plus the freebies!!

Most of the strains I originally wanted where sold out but I'm happy with these for sure!!

Been awhile so I figured I'd head out for a photo shoot. The girls are looking great. The Purple and one of the big outdoor mix plants have white hairs all over them. It's a little early, but I'd swear they look like they want to start flowering, especially the one big girl. Every node on that one has some hairs on it. My only concern is the height of the Purple. If it doubles in size, it will easily overtake the surrounding foliage. You can see from the pics I tied the NL that's next it to it down about a week or two ago, but I don't really want to tie the Purple down this late. The stem is a lot thicker and I really just don't want to mess with it.

foreal, they look about as healthy as they can get. you nevrr get any bug problems where you live?
Thanks man. Yeah I had a few issues with bugs. I actually lost a whole plant a few weeks ago to some kind of borer beetles. I've been spraying every two weeks and it seems like it's been keeping them in check. Up close you can see they are still nibbling at them, but nothing too severe. When growing outdoors, I don't think you can do anything to completely stop them. I don't think the spray can do anything about borer beetles, just pray I don't get any more.

Hey Sonar, just checking you out.
I'm a little worried about my little plant that started flowering early. It's got a spot (actually two spots on either side )at the base of the stalk, right were it goes into the dirt that's soft. I can take my thumb and push it into the stalk. I'm afraid I might have one of those boring grubs. Not sure. I may have overwatered it. This plant is about half as tall as the others, and it doesn't get as much sun. So, it doesn't dry out as fast. But, I pretty much watered it when I watered the others. It may be rot.

Just got back late last night from vacation since saturday and easy ryder seedlings look like shit. Dried out and got heat stressed. I soaked them and moved them extra far from the light but it wasn't enough. I knew I should have had my cousin come check on them. The smallest one was unharmed, another one is wounded but I think will pull through, and the last one I'm not sure about. Pretty pissed since I paid like $40 for 3 seeds, but whatever, shit happens.

Haven't been out to check my other girls in awhile, so I'll probably do that today. Need a spray and probably a good feeding. My brother is still down in Ocean City with the camera, so no new pics for at least a day or two.
