Indoor Photoperiod

How much light exposure is to much.....Is there a level a light that will hinder flowering or cause hermies?.....Just put a a/c in and have some light coming thru it....I run lights at night because of the summer heat....Should i switch to running them during the day so light doesn't contaminate the garden during photoperiod.....Run lights at night so when national grid comes to check my meter it's not spinning off the box so to speak......Is there an actual scientific meter reading on how much light poisoning is going on. If so, is there a chart that i can go by on how much light is too much?.....Thanks for any constructive responses.....

It wont matter in veg but once you switch to flowering your gunna want to cover up those light leaks. They will cause plants to hermie quick. 12 hours of darkness min when flowering
