indoors/outdoors question

If i put my plants outside during the day and allow the sun to beat down on them and then bring them in at night and put them under a 400 watt light, is that ok to do or will it mess the plants up and make them grow weird.

How old are the plants? In the veg stage that plan seems like a reasonable way to save some electricity.

You have to start slow. Only putting them out in nice weather will be easier on them, but still, you should search: plant hardening.

they are only seedlings right now so i got them under flourescents. But when i put them into vegg i want to put them outside so i can save electricity, produce less heat in the grow room and get some fresh air/sunlight for the plants. Once its time for flowering i will put them in my grow room and keep them on strict 12/12 schedule.

i dont plan to put the plants out there for good. I thought it would just be good for them to get some fresh air. thats why i asked if this will make the plants grow weird beacue of me bringing them in and out

I think they will be fine.
