i am only stating the facts maybe america is different but you wont find police choppers on duty here looking for cannabis dealers.
it is very costly to to run a chopper and as i said when they do use them here its not looking for grow houses and for any emergences only.
the U.K police cant afford to run helicopters just to fly around looking for hot spots as its a waste of time and taxpayers money.
U.K police are only interested in heroin dealers and other class A drug houses.
small time green growers have nothing to worry about.
U.K cops only go for the big fish.
if you get caught here with a few plants the matter wont even reach the courts let alone a warning as the police are NOT interested in personal grows.
its not worth thier time and most of them smoke anyway so its no big deal.

grows could be spotted accidentaly by choppers going about their business. Ie car chases, missing persons etc using ir cam. If they pick up a suspect heat source. They will no doubt act on it. But as a matter of routine they will not put up a chopper just on the off chance they may find a grow, aint worth their while.

Alright guys. I'm gonna throw this out there one more time. I am a retired firefighter ( I was injured on the job and medically retired). I was my department's expert on FLIR thermal imaging. It's the exact same thing the police helicopters use. I know very well how this stuff works. If you have a small grow and are not venting hot exhaust to the outside in winter or even on a cool summer day you are fine. I was also in the military and used FLIR during the first gulf war and Somalia. I've never heard of C-3 antidetection film until seeing it talked about on this site. If you insulate your grow room and don't have a ton of lights you are good. Police flyovers with FLIR should only be the worry of big time growers, not small personl grows. I'm not saying it's not possible for a small grow to get picked up, it's just not very likely. Also, the white you see where the windows on the house are in those videos is called a dead spot. FLIR cannot see through glass. It's one of the major weaknesses of FLIR. Anytime a dead spot appears, it will look bright white (hot) because the image is reflected back to the camera. Mylar is also very effective at reflecting IR radiation. The lesson here is to insulate your room as best you can, Cool your lights as best you can, and don't worry about FLIR unless you are planning on making a grow house. So if windows reflect the imaging and mylar reflects the imaging both in the same way and the imaging appears bright white then I may as well not insulate at all reason being: Uninsulated heat- bright white, Insulated heat bright white.
If the image is reflected back by the mylar it will appear bright white WTF I am confused

You are overthinking man. I know no one wants to get caught. If you are a small grower you will be fine. There are going to be risks no matter what (if you grow where it's illegal). And you are partially right. Dumbass cops have kicked in doors because they saw a reflection on the FLIR. They are usually trained to recognize deadspots because they have a very sharp appearance with little or no halo of IR around them. Trust me man. If you are worried about FLIR, line your room with mylar, cool your lights and don't vent to the outside. It really is that simple.

Yeah, getting picked up by FLIR on a police helicopter is probably the most unlikely way to get pinched. It can happen but it's rare, especially for small personal ops.

I just want to add that it's important to remember that the cops want us to think they can see through walls. They can't. It's another one of their tactics to scare people into not growing. Perhaps in the not too distant future they will be able to see through walls but that's another topic for another day. And when this happens it's time to take up arms and overthrow the government. We don't want another nazi germany. Happy growing. bongsmilie

They can't which is why it can't be used as the sole evidence to secure a warrant in the U.S. It's also why you see people in the U.K. getting their doors kicked in and the cops finding a wood stove or some shit on the other side.
