Well It finally happend... I either have bud rot/grey mold or powdery mildew.... Running a multi strain grow. Fast bud, Akr,5 vertigos and a greenomattic...., my fast and Akr were the ones with mold.... However they were about 3 weeks ahead of my verts.... Only the main colas in my Akr and fast bud were effected... I fought it off with fungacidal soap a few days, after I quarantined them...of course... To my dismay I couldn't stop it from returning, atleast I put a dent in it... There were 2 spots the size of a half qt on both mains, I doused em in soap and a few days later they are the size of dimes... I called it quits n harvested the fast and Akr yesterday, rather lose a gram or 2 then lose my whole crop..... They are now hanging, I've just inspected n the mold is still there in a few spots a lil smaller than half dime now... My question is... Do I douse it in soap n risk it being wet, or do I wait it out and let the drying kill it? All the other buds were un affected I probably caught it the day after it started.... And how safe are my vertigos? They've been outside the closet space for 2 days now... Do I just bleach my closet or do You think they'll be ok? The vertigos aren't nearly as far into flower, the Akr and fast bud were already dense as hell where as these still have a lot of filling out to do....will they be safe since I caught it so early and removed the tainted specimen?

I've had the PM before about 6 years ago. If it where me & I where in your shoes, I would just let it "dry" and not dose it anymore! I wouldn't myself take a chance at it being "wet" during the drying process!

That's what I thought..... On the other hand what should I do. I bleached the walls and replaced the wood the pots were on... You think the vertigos are safe to go back in? If I'm right it was bud rot bc it was only on the inner sides of the buds and its been humid the last week or so from all the rain.... I removed all of them and put the other 2 in the bathroom...my thoughts were to dry out the closet running the lights on for a couple days so it wasnt as muggy.....

Yeah of course you could bro, just as long as you "cleaned" really good like you said you did, got all over & wiped everything down with "bleach", then if your using the same containers again, make sure to run bleach round in those & rinse out really well also. And it does sound more so like bud rot to me aswell. Exspecialy if it was in a "humid" area!
