There's a stove plug outlet@ 120 v as well usually.
Not to mention using a stove or dryer circuit wired TEMP to a sub panel.
Most circuits are nit used through the day either. bedrooms..hallways...etc.
Checking a circuit to see whats on it takes seconds
The list is endless without changing or running new branch circuits.
All legal and not needing to be inspected by the way.
Only rough installs and certain apparatus get inspected and if you had lights certified for Canada...All's good INS wise..it says right in your INS policy and talks about lighting certificates for any electrical device in your home.
Some lights from 'other countries' will void your INS in a fire though...just sayin.

lots to it but growing tomats aint going to get you inspected...thats for sure!..
like making your own beer or wine ....the're not coming over to check.
They dont care about the bombs you have burning in your house every day.

Whats with you and your tomatoes? How many people grow tomatoes under 1000w hids in their bedrooms? All "bombs" in my house are csa or ul rated and installed by a ticket tradesman and new construction is inspected by the city, simple stuff sparky. Any modification to an electrical circuit must be done by a ticketed electrician. He/she's essentially liable for the work done. I'm no sparky but common sense tells me that multiple bulbs running off 15 amp breaker and typical 14 gauge wire has potential for bad things. Weather your growing tomatoes or cannabis, a typical house isn't wired for growing with hid.

Knowing a thing or two would make any non inspectable work done by the home owner just fine!
If you are not running new branch circuits..no inspection needed period!
I won't go into detail.
Next you'll be telling me that if I bring home a light of any type UL or CSA
that it needs to be "plugged in" by a licensed electrician ?? (:,,,,ya..keep at it Sparky ...

I know quite a few who grow their spring flowers and veggies side by side ...so.you're very wrong...but of course..you dont know any so it cant be true :)

It is kind of funny how we become targets of municipalities / bylaws etc.... at the whim of those who
were once adamantly against the legalization of mj or mmj....
In other words...if you want the ability to grow your own meds at home....you have to do it our way....huh!!!
so it can now become acceptable...as long as.....you buy a licence/pay a fee/have it inspected/are insured/pay tax/etc,etc,etc.
its just not right

Yup...They don't want to morally sensor you....they just want the money....lol
Watch this...funny and the line above kills me. It's SO true as well as how they really don't care they only want money. Just like a possession bust...go to court...get a fine ...go home.....jeez.

Must be an Ontario thing, most people I know use the sun to grow their flowers and veggies, you all will get it one day. Growing indoors is unsustainable. Here in BC we use something called a greenhouse to grow veggies all year round, I think one day it will catch on. Simple stuff really.

How many lbs of veggies (pick one) can you buy with $30...now how much does it cost to run a single 1000w HID for a month?..about $30.

I guess some people have more money than brains...

And I do know someone that use to grow roses indoors, but it wasn't profitable they just really liked roses.

im ordering in some hot pepper seeds, going to start them downstairs and put them outside in 10gal fabric pots. Hoping to make my own living organic soil :D

Ontario doesn't have golf courses open in Feb. :lol:
licenses dictate when and where a person can grow..
If everyone could grow monsters outside with out them being ripped and making sure they have meds through the year ... sure...that'd be awesome
but MOST can't!
Veggies start real well beside the weeds and there's no green house in the back yard in a city environment.

the ones who do grow plants with their meds grew plants before they grew pot. They'd bring some plants in in the fall....clone others.. plant seeds and start over again in the spring.
Why is it that everyone has to use 1000 watt HID's ? :lol:
