You will need to get yourself some inline fans. It depends on your room size how powerful of one you need. I know some people on here know more then I do about it. But it is pretty simple, just have to buy the fans, and run an intake and exhaust hose. Search google for inline fans and check them out! :)

I am going to grow some papaya and maybe some white widow. As far as my lighting I have a 1000 watt mh and hps my friend gave me before he moved. Thanks for the kind words growurown. :peace:

well... your asking a stupid question.. be more specific...you dont understand how to get fresh air into a room? open up the fucking door :) now... if your were to ask what would be the best way to ventalate "this sizE" grow room with "this light" in it in "this place" in my house woll keeping it "this loud" then we may be able to help u alittle bit more... ok.. now that im done making u feel bad... i would start with the basic's.... you want negitive pressure inside your grow room or closet or box with ur 1000watt mh... for now ima assume u have a nice sized closet or small room.... now negative pressure... what is it ? its basicly keeping the air flowing out.. greater then the air flowing in... basicly like a very ineffective vacume.... this keeps the air/odor going were u want it... and not spreading around your house. now... how to do this... first would you like to use passive intake... with exaust... or do u want to blow air into the room... if i was you i'd stick with passive intake and exaust... for less effort.... so now u need a fan... what type? well u need to know how big your room is... then you need to take that and make sure your whole room can be cycled in the desired amount of time... so once uve found out what size your room is and how often u want air cycled... then pick up a fan with the desired "cfm" cubic feet per min.... when u look at fans it will tell u this... along with what type of fan it is... you can pick up good fans on ebay generally cheap which can move a few 100 cfm's easily... also you will want to hook that up to a carbon filter or ozone generator to make sure those nasty smells dont get you caught. now... were to get the air from? the best place would be .... anywere... just cut a whole somewere in the room mabe low ? and to the side... were fresh air can come in.. mabe cover it with a screen to keep critters/bugs out now... were can u send the bad air to..... well several choice's.... some people vent it right into a nearby sewage pipe... if you dont know how or dont have one available in your house/bathroom neerby.. then i guess your just gonna need to vent it out a window... or run it out a tube to outside somewere... perferably somewere out of sight... and were people wont notice/smell it... which they shouldent ... because u have a carbon filter...or u better get one :) ... so now u have.... a hole in the bottom of your room.... letting fresh air from somewerein the house... into ur grow room... which keeps temps stable...oposed to outside air... and you have a fan blowing a good amount of air out of the room through a hose to somewhere after going through a carbon filter... after that i would stick a few oscillating fans inside for general circulation and make sure the door/entry to this place is sealed as well as possible... if your using panda film for reflector then u can simply make a wall of it on one side of the door... with velcro or something holding together the 2 flaps.. just make up something creative to keep your room air tight... except for the spots u want air flowing....

hope ive helped someone understand something... if not whatever.. excuse the spelling errors... and typo's and things that dont make sence... i havent slept in awile and i havent smoked in a longer while :( , if you have any other questions feel free to ask... and nothing i said is fact... take it as opinion/suggestion nothing more

This really helps with bugs, mold spores.

3M 20X25 1000rated This is the second best filter made by 3M

A fan speed control can be used to achieve to correct pressure.

I use slightly positive pressure until odor is detectable then switch to slightly negative pressure.

Exhaust make a hole in the ceiling with a hose to the roof vent

It will be the same diameter as the intake side. Clamp directly to the fan or to an extension hose.

What inline fans are you planning on getting,if your thinking about the home depot inline duct fans stay away from the 4 inch,go with atleast 6 inch or even better 8 to 12 inch, home depot has a kick ass attic fan that is 12 inches & has over 1,500 cfm for $55,i found it in the roofing section along with roof vents.

I got best results using passive air intakes (non powered) & active (powered) exhaust vents,i started out with a powered intake & powered exhaust & i still had heat issues,i then took the fan i had bringing fresh air in & cut another exhaust & ran it to it,my temps came down drasticly & are 100% stable now, humidity levels are 100% stable also using the dual powered exhaust & a single passive intake.

Depending on how you plan on venting you can make your own carbon filters for $10 to $20 each which will save you a few hundred dollars, all you need is activated carbon which can be bought at Meijers or any store that sells aquarium supplies, then depending on how you plan to exhaust you have other options on how to use the carbon.

Heres a thread that i just joined showing an excellent method for cheap odor control.

If your going to be growing for some time. Vortex in-line fans are the best on the market.

If your exhaust fan dies your plants start to cook.

Well I am certainly not rich but I don't mind paying for quality equipment because I want the best for my plants and something that wont give me much of a hassle. I am currently interested in what tetra has going on and might try that btw tetra what brand is that exhaust? :peace:
