Intake newbie question.

Can I have Intake from outside my window?
Even if the weather is cold. I mean mid 40's during the day and 30's at night?
I would appreciate any advise.

guess it would depend on what your running inside, how big your space is and what type of light.

I'm using one cfl 42w 2800 lumens.

And i'm using a cardboard box don't know the exact size I guess i should figure that out. lol...
I'll get back to you on the size of my box.
But i was thinking of using a duct from outside my window to my box?
And then having a carbon filter for my exhaust.

arnt carbon filters alot of money lol ? why would u only use 1 cfl
