For anyone out there that doesn't live in a medicinal state and is worried about being tracked down by the Narc's on the internet. Download yourself "FOXYPROXY" and use "SOCKS 5" IP addresses'. Simple as that, you can re-direct your internet connection through a firewalled server and you will not risk exposing your own personal IP address. :leaf:

How long have you been using this for? Seems neat but I hate being at the whits of someone elses design.

I've always done this without actually downloading anything by having a VPN set up. Sites like ca.gofree.com, uk.gofreevpn.com, bfvpn.com, they all provide you the username and password of networks to connect to. (Usually to watch non-accessable TV like the site you linked mentions). It's also good for hiding your IP.

The basic principle is just like business networking. Your just connection to a server, like you would at an office. Except with VPN's you set them up right through microsoft and don't actually download anything.

Both work, but each are for different people.

foxyproxy is an add-on for firefox, all it does is routes your requests through a pre defined server of your choice..you can even pay for your a personal proxy ip so that you're the only one using the bandwith.

The only downfall to foxyproxy is that you have to find good ip #'s that aren't slow, other than that it works great...the good thing about it is that you can use socks 5 proxy servers which at no time your ip address is exposed, if you use a plain http server/ip then your ip address is still being exchanged through the server. + Rep to that!
