I feel like that might be the auto part that affected the potency i might be wrong but I've ran some autos pretty well just they were not as strong hitting but they finished fast so maybe that could be it. got my mcc harvest and in jars looks good very cookie dom. bongsmilie
Nah the green strains were all good.

What strain I's this?
I did sweet seeds dark devil, Fast buds blackberry, some other breeder purple mazar, and a different breeders blackberry. They were all weak as fuck. Green strains from those breeders were all decent. Not the best ive ever had but pretty good.

Purple colors often don't appear until the last 2 weeks of flower, sometimes in the very last week of flower in very ripe bud.

Dropping night temps now is a very bad idea, it will possible create extra stretch and will effect yield.

Genetics mostly determines color as does environment to a much lesser extent, and you should never try force it because doing so will affect quality and yield, as the purple color is a sign of green chlorophyll breaking down and you don't want that happening too soon as that chlorophyll powers your plants carbohydrates and in-turn yield .

Just Grow them the best you can keeping night temps warm, and if they are not purple enough for you, change the strain, many purple strains dont go purple indoors and thats totally ok..
Thats not really even purple though. The leaves are a bit but not the buds, i think he is looking for purple flower.

yeah i got no clue unless the parents of the purple were just less potent in general idk. its all bud in the end.

True they may color up more in the 2 weeks left to go till harvest, yes there are much more purple strains out there if that is your thing, these were just free seeds and I wasn't seeking purple bud.

Thanks for the input. I’d rather have good yield oppose to some color.
It's one thing to experiment when you've got the environments to do it in (I do all manner of testing), but I think you've made a good choice here if all you've got is a single production tent/area.

Some Purple seed strains have green phenos, some purple, if you find a nice deep purple in the mix that you like , you can clone it.
A lot of so called purple strains never go purple indoors in my experience.

Purple haze is a hybrid strain from purple thai and haze. Some turn purple, but they say its dosent turn purple that much.

damn that bad? what strain was it and who did u buy it from?
sweet seeds dark devil, Fast buds blackberry, some other breeder purple mazar, and a different breeders blackberry.

It was a good variety, not just a one off thing. It was probably around 4-5%.

3 weeks is too soon for the cold induced purpling. It shouldn’t take too many nights with the window open at the end of flowering to change.

And yes if it is purple it isn’t green and green means more photosynthesis which means more growing.

What is purple? I dont think purple haze is is a summer strain, like you should grow ismf its hitting 110 degrees outside. I've read you can shock to purple haze a bit with cold to enhance the purple color

Buds thrive in warmer temps. Cold “slows” growth but indeed will give you some wacky color changes. If you run cold temps flower a few weeks more. I like cold runs mid summer.
