Can anybody recommend any going round in circles with the reviews on amazon I'm in the UK also I'm guessing the dual ones aren't worth it because it's only a dual laser and not ir sensor or at least some I've seen that are cheap

I got mine at a Canadian Tire store on sale ten years ago for $20 and it works great still. Basically the same ones selling at the local farm supply are $100. They use the laser to pinpoint the area the ir sensor is pointed at so it doesn't really do anything other than act as a focus point.

I use it for all sorts of stuff like cooking up my cocobudder and when I compared it to a very accurate lab thermometer it was dead on and only use it now.

I recently used it to check the temp of the wheel bearings on a utility trailer I bought 500km away and had to haul home. -25C out there and it seemed to work fine for that too.

What do they claim the dual lasers are for?

:peace:
