I'm sure it is quite possible (after becoming a citizen) considering that we have foreigners in public office. I think most community colleges have law enforcement classes too. Good luck. Don't go around abusing your power though.

Of course. there is no law against anyone who is a legal US citizen(birth or immigrant) getting a job anywhere in the USA, except as POTUS.

Good luck if you do decide to do it!

Love Ireland btw, still have family in Ennistymon, County Clare :)

Yeah you should be able to but no clue why the hell you'd want to.. I guess some people are into violating others rights though.. (Not the one granted to you by the constitution obviously, but then again even those sometimes)..

Violating the rights of those that violate the rights of others... I have no problem with it. :bigjoint:

Good luck, PPP.

There is a long tradtion of Irish-american cops especially in the North East US.

Come on over I don't think its to hard to be a cop.

Just Make sure your better than everyone else IN SHAPE ect.. mentally prepared.

I don't know how the immigration stuff works but I don;t know if its easy. Everybody would do it if was easy you know?

On another note I once did the no pants dance with an Irish girl who was on vacation here.(red head, real pale skin and the whole shabang lol

Several of my good friends have become law enforcement officers.
Depending on your motivation, it can take you six months to a couple of years.
You can get free "ride-alongs" with good cops so long as you stay in the car.
