Is 1300ft considered high altitude?

Hi all

i know this may sound like a silly question but the area i am looking at for the summer grow is very mountainy for the region's standards. However i have no point of reference hence my perception is skewed. i need to make a strain choice and im afraid to make the wrong one due to altitude or climate. Thankfully it doesnt get propper cold, i.e 10C at night, until end of october and humidity is no issue rally either. However harvest is, hoping to select something that can be considered done by beginning of october. Im considering agent orange cause i love it and it has been too long since i had it, also considering anesthesia by pyramid seeds, supposedly does well in guerrilla from a forum. Please tell me what you think a good strain choice would be, no autoflowers please.

Thanks

So am I safe to assume any indoor strains i have knowledge about that seemed to be sturdy, resiliant and ammendable to the cold and humidity would grow trouble free provided the adequate care?

Dunno about indoor strains. I came from Missouri to Colorado. I am now at 5000 ft. Was at 800 ft. No noticable difference due to altitude change.

trouble free weed! ah ha ha ha ha ha! yes you will likely find a strain that works - but isn't "trouble" just a facet of our perception? some people see a situation and consider it an obstacle, while others would see the same thing as a challenge.

1300' would feel pretty high if you had nothing between you and the ground.

You can safely grow outdoors just about anything you desire at that altitude ASL.

You really have nothing to worry about regarding elevation. Here in CO (I grow outdoors at 7800') the only issue is the wind speeds above timberline. (right around 10k ft). You have some challenges that I don't really face, like slugs and caterpillars. The stupid mule deer and elk like the leafy green treats at the end of the summer, so plan for any wildlife in your neck of the woods so you don't end up having a carrot garden that bugs bunny ravaged... chicken wire or rabbit fencing are good to have on hand for your outdoor adventure in gardening.
