Is 208 Watts of CFL over kill for 1 Plant

Am using right now 4 26W CFL 6500K lights for Veg. 2 plants, 1 of them will go to my buddy or moved to be a mother, and the other will LST and flower....

I was wondering if 8 CFL is enough for fully flower 1 plant, thats 208Watts and 12800 Lumes ....? Trying to grow them undre 3-4 feet finished. I dont know when to start flowering my plant is 3 inches high with 4 true nodes and 5 coming out i have start LST today and in few days top them and wait 1 for recovery and flower them is that good or bad?

That light might work fine. I'd wait til they are about 12-20" tall if you want to keep them under 4'. They will have a growth spirt when you switch to veg. If you flip the light too soon, you wont have as many nodes and not as many bud locations, so the longer you can wait, the better.

but to answer your initial question... 208 watts is NOT overkill at all for one plant. However, if its gonna be a mom and in a limited size grow box, then less light is good to prevent too much growth.

Mother plant will only get 2 26 watt cfls, sorry I need it to finish under 29 inches
And am going to use the top to clone

i have almost 400 watts on my one plant. i also doing lst atm, and im 5 weeks into flower. But i did not top my nodes. I gew til i got about 10-13 nodes poped out, then flowered at week 4 of veg.
around first week of flower
now. week 5+

dam thats a lot of stretch.... i have to grow small cause i dont have a the room and its stealth.

You can never have too much...I have 6 CFLs; 3 2700k and 3 5000k at 291W with 19740 Lumens or 67.83 lumens per watt which is a really good amount for the space and lack of heat. I have a Sensi Seed Hindu Kush seeds that I picked up in Amsterdam that Ill be using in this grow. Ill be using a small 7 gallon bubbleponics set up and CANT WAIT!! You might want to switch out your bulbs though and go with 42w and 55w. Good luck!!

am doing this to sell a little make the money and buy proper lights Electronic HID and grow tent and FOx farm nutes after i get that ill be set....i only grew Hydro never soil ... my first soil so i dont know how the plant acts .... but ya i have now 10CFL at 260watts 16000lumes .. 61 lumens/watt

All my grow shit got lost in storage forgot to pay and lost over 8000$ worth of grow stuff.
