I grew GG4 from well-developed-stock clones and never had a problem. Those girls could take abuse without a whimper- not that I was trying to abuse them- just training but was my first-year and got a little zealous at times!
Never hermed. I guess it depends on how stable your phenos are?
But, original point simply that GG supposedly comes from a herm.
Same person I got the GG4 also gave me a small plant from seed they found in a tangie-cookies cross they grew- that one hermied on me. I think inconsistent lighting did it to that one as I moved to greenhouse from indoor, and it received less full-lit hours.
