Is autoflowering faster since the light is longer or do u have to grow them to maturity thx guys
yes, i think thats one of the main reasons for growing autos is because of how fast they are compared to non ruderalis strains. after 2 months you should either be able to harvest, or have buds ready to smoke.

cannabis has 3 different species. indica, sativa, and ruderalis. indicas and sativas start flowering after the light cycle changes to roughly about 12/12 over a certain period of time. the ruderalis is actually very weak in potency, however growers have crossed with sativas/indicas to counter that drawback. so in a faster amount of time, you can grow buds that are about just as potent as most sativas/indicas. however another drawback is low yield. autos flower after a certain amount of time has lapsed, not when the light cycle changes. you can keep them on 24 hours of light and they will still flower. i read though that autos are best grown at about 20/4 cause that 4 extra hours will hardly make a difference so better off saving on the power bill. good luck! personally i dont do autos but i think they are a really interesting and cool idea.
