If I hear you right you feed water feed? That’s being very conservative, cant imagine a situation where that many salts would be left over after just one feeding but if you’re measuring your runoff you’d know better than I

Yes I feed water feed, I was told by @Roger A. Shrubber to do that to reduce salt build up. Go to runoff when watering and no runoff when feeding. Is that right Roger that was like a year ago maybe my memory is foggy from too much dope lol!!!

The advice is sound but I would measure your run-off because I would bet that when you are just watering you are actually giving them less than they want. Every third time just watering is the "norm" although I have found in my circumstance even that is not needed but I think it's because I go for a lot of run-off and don't go above 900ppm to begin with.

Hi Tommy,
The best harvests I've ever had was when I was using the finish product Final Finish. It is essentially a flush product designed to chelate nutrients left in the media so it can't be absorbed. But the secret and primary ingredient is Epsom salts which help sstimulate terpines via the sulfur.

I was selling some of my harvest them and all who smoked it wanted more. I have not been able to recreate that quality since I stopped using the FF. Considering going back to using it.

What are the true secrets and what are the myths?

How you grow should be based on what you know ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Fact: In order for cannabis to be classified as hemp it must have less than 0.3% THC

Fact: In order to assure low THC levels in hemp it is grown in high N rich mediums/soils

Fact: N (Nitrogen) inhibits THC production

Fact: Yellowing lower leaves indicate low N

There are several ways to induce a fade at the end before harvest, which one you use and how you use it is up to you

The most popular methods are detrimental to overall yield

Every grower should experiment, try all known methods to discover for themselves what works best for their garden

The secrets (facts) are out there but can be hard to find as most that know don't openly share, that thing where folks want theirs to be the best is often hard to get over.

Things like the proper ratio's of micro nutes that prevent lockouts favor CBD production

Iron (Fe) feeds CBD
Manganese (Mn) feeds THC
Boron aids in Manganese uptake
proper ratio is 2.5 to 1 to prevent lockouts
A 1 to 1 ratio causes a lockout that shows as leaf veins turning yellow and favors THC production

Yeah it sucks when ya know all the secrets :)

if i recall right, you were growing in soil at the time, and that's been my practice in soil forever. if you've moved to coco since then, feed every watering, and get about 10% run off every watering.

Finally did my own experiment after 15yrs of flushing and determined they dont need to be flushed. I even had a high 1100 ppm in coco and didnt water to runnoff ever (flushed once week 6) and they were still smooth with white ash. It's all about how early you pick and how well you dry
