Is it bad to change vegging hours from peak to off peak?

My current vegging sched is 7am-1am, but I'm going to change it to 6pm-11:59am is this gonna shock my plants or anything?

Go for it. I veg mine 24/7 until they get to the height I want.

Just don't let the lights be off for more than 10 hours.

What red said, and even then it probably won't really matter. It's not like you have to worry about reveg, just accidentally beginning a day of flowering.

Just switch the lights over. Geeze - what do you guys do if you have a power outage? Nothing is going to happen.
Switch the timer and start saving a few bucks.

As long as you're not in flower you'll be fine...I would just leave my lights on till the new time came around to turn them off and go from there...
