Swollen calyxes do not get hard. When fertilized, the pistils will very quickly turn brown and begin to recede.

Mine aren't hard. I'm ile 22 days in and some are swelled and some are normal. How long does it usually take for them to recede after being pollinated

just a calyx, you will commonly find a pair of big ones at the base of flower clusters or nodes.
They will show where branches meet main stem? Dont remove? What happens. They are definitely calyces not seeds on mine. Just weird they popped out of nowhere half way through flower. What happens to them?

Thats a girl showing all girl parts. Its just a swollen calyx that forms at the base of flowers.
I have calyces at where nodes or where seeds would normally be at branches meeting. With flowers up branch looking fine. The post i was commenting to referenced a afhgani trait? Trying to figure if its herming with them being calyx. They have trichomes and arent seed pods yet. Trying to figure out. Not much. No pics matching up online.

This is a normal female flower with large calyxes on the main stem at the nodes.
Notice there are pistols coming from the tips of the calyxes indicating it is female:

This is a normal male well into the flower cycle.
Notice there are NO pistols present anywhere:

This is a true intersex plant (hermie) showing both male and female parts in flower.
Notice there are no white pistols coming from the male parts:

A life time worth of growing says you should listen to this man. Your plant is fine
