Is it legal to give plants away on craigslist?

I have these plants that have been re-vegged, they are all crosses I did and grew out. I want to grow new stuff so I don't really want these plants but I kind of don't wanna throw them away either.

I know it's illegal to sell marijuana stuff but aren't adults allowed to gift plants/clones to one another so long as money isn't involved? Like legitimately gift, not the whole "donation" thing.

They are pretty nice plants to be honest, I'll post some pics below.

You think it's legally OK to post them for free on Craigslist? Obviously if it's illegal I'm not going to do it I'll just throw them in the trash and move on.

I mean they are all really nice plants but I am searching for things that are really nice and have a huge yield and none of these really fit the bill.

it is legal to give away. no donation for gas/power what so ever just don't be to trusting and don't meet them at your place
