Is it okay to check my plants while drying?

I keep them in a dark room. After work I turn the light on to inspect them then turn it back off..Is this bad?

Not really should be fine. good job keeping them in a dark room.

Thanks..I also have a house fan in the room on a chair not directly on any buds, blowing towards a wall just to circulate air. I lost a 2 huge colas due to mold this year and i still have a PACKED room...I'm excited! had to harvest a cpl weeks early bc of mold...damn nirvana nl.

So long as they are in the dark most of the time, it won't hurt them at all if you're just checking them. Not sure if there's any other way to be honest.

The mold SUCKED but I saved most of my plant. It has about 12 colas...i have 10 drying and tons of other buds. The 2 branches that were molded had some huge colas/buds im just glas I saved what i did.
