Is it okay to put indoor plants outside to get some sun?

Okay so its a cracking sunny day outside for a change and a slight breeze, I have still to buy more lights tomorrow for my plants as i have 4 x 2 week old plants under 1 x 23w cfl (I know its not enough light but my pay was delayed yesterday so will be buying lots more cfl's tomorrow) I am wondering if it is okay to put the plants on the windowsill to get some of the sun? Would this be okay putting them outside as they are indoor plants? Of course i will bring them back in and put them under the lights again when the sun dies down.

Will be OK, especially with our Scottish sun lol, remember you will get stretch at the window so for this reason alone I do not do it.

To be honest with them being under 1 x 23w cfl they are a bit small in height anyways although it has not stopped the leaves growing out the ways it has up the ways :s so perhaps the sun may help them a little :)

I have a south facing window that gets so much sun at times I can't even see the TV with the curtains open. I've grown some very nice auto plants from start to finish in that window. I also move my autos from my tent on days I'm home and when it's really sunny to the window.

its not a bad idea.. the only issue being u can bring bugs and shit back into your grow.. but since ur doing a small area.. u can do it . then after ur done. just clean ur room to make sure no bugs remain if u get any from outdoors.
