Is it possible to be "a little bit pregnant"?

I have several patches several hundred yards apart from each other. In one patch, there is a big healthy male which has started to flower. If I rip it out after it has started to pollinate, is it possible that some female buds will get knocked up and produce seeds and others on the same girl won't? Or is it an all-or-nothing thing like people?

I'd like to have some buds with seeds so I can experiment with future grows without using high-priced seeds. I'm still trying to figure out what works best for my soil and conditions. Thx

Yes, it is possible to have a female plant produce only a few seeds. A number of growers "catch" the pollen and pollinate with a small art brush.

absolutely! you can have 1 seed or 1000000 it's up to you really. Left naturally, it'll pollinate her solid, but you can stop it before it gets that far.
