Yep avid is some serious shit, forbid even dissipates out before avid does in his particular environment. Id rather spray with forbid and nuke em before avid or floramite. But of course all these chemicals are light dependent. So no one person can state another person has it in their product unless they know their light set up and duration of light.
I read that article, sadly he provides no evidence that he ever had his weed tested, no web sites, no PDF,, no scan of his recipt,, just words,, words on a page like many of these weed blogs,, i would prefer to see evidence,, and not opinion,, sorry

what I am showin is PROFF that your information may not be correct,, so please stop SCARING People with information that may not be true,, you dont get the last word,, just because you say it doesnt make it correct,, avid is getting approved for more and more human consumption,,
The Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) recently announced the approval of a minor use registration for AVID (abamectin) insecticide/miticide for control of tomato psyllid on greenhouse peppers and tomatoes. The active ingredient abamectin was already labeled in Canada for control of leafminers, pear psylla and spider mites on potatoes, pome fruit, strawberries, caneberries, greenhouse ornamentals, greenhouse peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes.

Tomato psyllid (Paratrioza cockerelli) is a new pest of greenhouse vegetables in Canada and has been the subject of minor use prioritization by greenhouse vegetable producers for several years. Feeding by psyllids not only causes yellowing of the plant, but can also result in loss of vigour and yield due to a combination of reduced fruit set and fruit size. Until now, there have been no products available to producers to manage this pest in Canada.

I use forbid sparingly as its little brother is oberon which is rated for food crops. But avid/floramite are typically different, its half life seems to be way longer than any other insecticides.

Well take it with a grain of salt, no one person can state it dissipates in X amount of days unless they have tested it. Its impossible to state that it breaks down in X amount of days because of different light set ups. DE bulbs will surely break down the chemical faster than a 400w HID. Its all hear say but its a good measure to have some thought before spraying.

Its not that I really care. I won't use it. If a person does use be honest and don't kid yourself. Material Safety Data Sheets don't lie.

Tim does good work and I like his grows.

I'm not even judging. I just want people to know what it is before using it.
