That is not discounting it or its validity. It is just not something that applies in this situation. It is irrelevant to what i have been saying all along, many many times. What i have been saying... you anti-flushing guys WANT somebody to beat up on and so have interpreted all i have said to be pro flushing, which is simply not true. I dont know enough about it to have an opinion and frankly i dont care. What i have been saying is that "A" flush, one, before harvest improves the taste and burn of the weed. Thousands of growers agree. I dont care what the science says about that and ibdont think it addresses that at all. From what i know... it is about habitual and prolonged flushing... and that isnt relevant to what ive been sayi g...

As for the science of a flat earth... all the "experts" and scientists of the day believed that and taught it. And nearly killed a guy for contradi ting him.... it is all in the history books...look it up...
You have really changed your tune.. The thing is, your way of thinking is comparable to thinking the earth is flat. The facts/science that chuck put out there is the evolution. As you said you don't know what you are talking about, so you shouldn't act like you do. That nugg you have in your avatar better be mid to low grade outdoor.

You're actually dead wrong about all that, and who's Dr Who..? He happens to be one of the few true pros around here whose advice is sought out all over these forums.
Dont know that. Just because he says and you say he is doesnt make it so. This is the internet....anybody can be anybody they claim...

And so if i am wrong about that i will never know it...

Changed my tune? Not at all. I have been consistent in my argument. If people choose to interpret it other than the way it was intended to suit their own purposes the is nothing i can do about that, except offer clarification, which i have done...and it has been ignored to suit adversarial purposes...

Oh well...life goes on...

Tell me about it! Now I understand why UB responds the way he does, but like you said in another thread. Some people make it hard to post and help them, what makes it worth it are the few that thank you for doing so
Thank you and every other level headed member. I remember three or four years ago when I first started I was overwhelmed until I met uncle Ben and the likes. The straight forward, science/botany, anti-snake oil approach really helped me avoid a lot or error earlier.

I wonder how many people start, then get so mixed up with myths and other false laws of the typical cannabis cultivation culture they quit...

I'm glad there are people willing to swim upstream as someone else said to bust a few myths.

I think after reading through this that your problem is you believe what you are taught. Smoke some of your bud and open up your mind to the possibility that you are wrong and have been forever.

I believe this is pretty much what I said about the nay sayers in the bit you quoted of me. Who has the closed mind here? During my first few grows I asked about flushing on this site and guess what? The same sort of thing happened that's going on in this thread right now. A bunch of so-called "pros" got all bent out of shape and even nasty in that thread to the guys who said flushing was the thing to do. It was pretty divided, like a lot of threads on here. So I just did what a guy told me, which was to experiment and decide for myself. What I found was, what I have been saying all along... a flush 4 or 5 days before chopping did wonders for the weed. Probably due to transpiration, that nobody wants to talk about here. I also found that flushing for 2 weeks before chop didn't really improve much over flushing just 4 days out.

The closed minds here are the ones saying that this isn't true because of shit they read. They attack credibility of those who oppose and get personal, nasty with anybody who disagrees. I think that is more a sign of the character that would have a close mind, as opposed to the guy (me) who merely told the OP to experiment and decide for himself.

And that is the true spirit of growing, isn't it. It seems everybody has a different way of doing things and their own opinions. The ones without egos tend to be more polite in sharing and are not offended when people reject their methods. Those with egos, like the so called "pros" here, get right offended when hey run into those who disagree. Then their pee-on acolyte jackals jump in with the nasty shit...

I've see this I don't know how many times on this site in different threads. But there's enough good people to stick around though. Vostok is one of them. He's helped me out a lot. He does things a little different and he doesn't give a shit what others think... no ego...

Or maybe you haven't learned to dry and cure properly yet? Maybe YOUR ego can't admit that?

Are you hurting feelings again lol
I don't think I can hurt this guy, he is still here after i exposed his awful growing skills and newbieness. I made a prediction about him and his rant and it came true, just like i am predicting he will have another long post whining about some other crap.

Outside plants generally dont get concentrated chemicals for nutes...so there would be little reason to flush. I would think the same gows for indoor organic growers...
