so im trying to loose like 10 lbs fast and my boyfriend told me that smoking weed and then not eating will help me loose it faster..is this true?

if im not mistaken; marijuana raises your metabolism, which is why it gives you the munchies; so i would say yes.... but i could very well be wrong....

But yeah I think someone said this, but it does raise some people's metabolism. There is no guarantee it will for you, since everyone's body is different of course. I know people who actually gain weight from smoking [munchies not a factor, they ate normally]

Just make sure to exercise n all ... Losing weight isn't as hard as many people think. Good luck.

plus weed does speed metabolism

not really... when i am hungry to the point of having stomach pains, i can be lazy and smoke a bowl and it settles my empty stomach.... now that im not smoking though,, when i get hungry i have to eat right then or i get horrible hunger pains to the point of them being debilitating... ill start puking if i dont get food right away.... being sober has upped my appetite dramatically... im ALWAYS starving.... which reminds me, time for lunch!:mrgreen:

Yeah it will work;however once you start eating regularly again you're going to put it right back on. Just eat really good foods, up your daily intake of meals, work out a little bit and then smoke lots of weed. Your body will acclimate itself to the change, and it will help you to keep it off.

OR you could always try the Maple Syrup and Pepper diet. hehehe .. This brings back memories of that silly thread from a while ago... What biggravy said is basically what I told that person to do. Losing 10 lbs is nothing though. You could easily lose that just by not eating any junk food whatsoever and going for a walk every day.
