Is it worth $50 to you?

Would you donate $50 to a legalization effort that might actually work?

weed is going to be legalized when it makes economic sense to do so...and by a drug tolerant president...not by ppl that grow...thanks for the rep you're thread is a joke btw
How does legalization of Marijuana NOT make economic sense????

The government could tax pot, they could clear up the failing legal system, theres thousands of people going through courts and being put in jail for Marijuana, Surely thats a HUGE waste of tax dollars.

Dub good post, honestly, I agree. The people tend to be ignorant by believing anything the media tells them to believe.

The only thing that I didn't like nor agree with was this:
"We have to become what we loath and turn into the enemy."

I think quite the contrary, we have to be willing to fight without doing the same shit some of our corrupt politicians do.. otherwise the change is just something bought and people still don't realize why it changed. (kinda hard for me to explain what I am tryin to say, I hope ya guys catch tho).
I totally agree with you here. We need to step up and hold our politicians and government accountable for their actions. Also we need to put the government in their place, They have us all convinced that the government is in place to rule the people. Thats just not the case.

The facts are out there, its just a matter of getting these people to open their eyes and accept reality. Marijuana is just Marijuana. We need to Stop putting people in jail for weed.

Prohibition didnt last because the people stood up to their government. Why shouldnt we do the same now?

i think there are only two ways weed can be legalized: (and this is all due to how many people the drug employs)

a. stoners need to become politicians....(west coast is leading)

b. our economy gets so fucked up, the government uses it as a last resort

i only say this because i've seriously considered donating to become a member of a legalization group, but realized it was out of our hands...

I really dont think we will get pot legalized with "stoner politicians" or waiting for the government to fail and give in. Thats what we have been trying, clearly its not working.

Knowledge is power. We need to start educating regular people with the facts, theres too much disinformation on Marijuana out there. Most people who don't smoke weed have no clue, they only know what they here from friends and media.

I think we all know the He said She said BS and the News media isnt going to provide any real facts on the benefits of legalization.

Dude..weed wil be lagalized tyhos year 2009!!!!!
Thats the plan. Its 2009. I think its been long enough, its time to legalize. Legalizing Marijuana will create an entire new industry that countries like USA and Canada truly need right now.

I'm down for 2009. I don't see why people got to shoot it down. Its as simple as yes or no. I know of probably 25 friends and hundreds of co-workers who would be willing to put time and money into a plan. Some people seem to think that you can start a plan of this caliber without seeing if people agree with you first. I did not get asked for any money. I do have the common sense to know that some things take time........Also my friend that got robbed was not selling drugs. It was random and it was attempted murder. But no need to explain right.....

Exactly. It is as simple as Yes or No.

Its clear that the Majority of people would support a well thought out plan, and I don't see why they wouldn't.

I was just looking at homes.com for some RE in Humboltd. Still A bit high if you ask me. I know I would make it back, but 600,000 is a large investment. Not that I wouldlnt' like to give it a go.

I'll tell you what, I'll buy the house on a hill, you chop down the redwoods, And well plant the good stuff together.. What do you say??

I know people that would pay a fuck of a lot more than $50 to eliminate the risk of being busted. I am pretty sure NORML has the lobbying taken care of. But they can never throw the amount of money at politicians as the industries wanting to supress hemp and marajuana in the USA. E.G. big tobacco, big oil, big pharma ect. The stupid thing is that each of these industries could incorporate MJ or hemp into their stategic sales plan and still come off with fat pockets all day long

NOT NESSECRALY DUDE..EVEN IF THEY DO TAX IT..WHICH THEY WILL...theyll still lose countless money seeing as the shift will turn from conventional medicine and cigarte smoking..to cannabis growing and smoking...also,how would you be able to tax it??Any doofus with a few cfls wil be able to grow it??...So whos gonna buy it at the local headshop when every guy in the block has atlaeast a few plants growing??!!

There will be no conventional,U.S market that will profit from thew sale or taxation of cannabis..it will be a free for all!!!

Same thing that haeppend with magic mushrooms in holland!!too much average joes started growing it,not the licneced commericla fa5rms..so they started to lose money, wehile being "looked down" as a major drug center!!! yeeaaa FACTS!!
