Get some better soil and a larger pot and transplant it. Most potted plants are transplanted at least once in their lifetime. Make sure you let the soil dry out before transplanting so the root ball will stay together. Wet soil falls apart.

The plant may stop growing for a few days while it adjusts to the new soil, but it won't hurt it at all. If you can, find a hydro shop and buy some nice quality soil that come with organic nutrients. I've had good luck with Fox Farm soils. Make sure to add plenty of Perlite.

With good soil like that you shouldn't have to fertilize for the first 4-6 weeks. Wait until the leaves start turning a lighter shade of green. Then, start adding nutrients at half strength every 2 or 3 waterings and watch how the plant responds.

You can definately save your plant.

^ all good ideas, its rare you'll ever ask this ? on RIU and have people tell you to stop. Plant looks good, i couldnt tell from your post, do u only let it sit outside, because if thats the case, its gonna start flowering because the amount of sunlight per day decreases as winter approaches.
Flowerings not a bad thing, its just that u might not get any weed from it because its so young.

:blsmoke:Hey thank you guys for advice. That was my first post and to be honest i didnt expect n-e one to reply.(RIU rules)So wingnutt you do think ican save it uh. So do you think i should try going to a nurserie around my area for good soil with organic nutrients or just say f*** it and get fox farms ocean forest. Oh yeah and how does a 3 gal. pot sound. Now what do you mean i should go full strength on nutes on the 4th week. I've read in other post aswell where they say go 1/2 strength or full strength, what you mean by that. Hey Crypt the sunlight is the only light my plant is getting. Should i buy a cfl or hps light. The last thing i want to happen is not even a getting a few blunts of weed out of it. A few months back i had another one that started to flower and turned yellow and just died. I'll just keep trying till im succesful.

yea, if u want a decent amount of weed I would go get an hps light. THe sun at this time of year will hardly give u any weed of a plant that small. U might be able to squeeze out one blunts worth.

So say i am going to get an hps light how many watts should it be enough for one plant. Can i get one at home depot? How much daytime and nightime should it be getting right now:blsmoke:?

it should veg at 18 hours on and 6 off, then when u want it to flower, put it on 12/12, but remember that a plant will sometimes double or triple in size when it starts budding.
I would say get a 250 watt hps, but I've seen some growers recently on here with lower watts(150 i think)
htgsupply.com has got some good deals on lights

well the good news is u got a female, so u wont be dissappointed with balls. But Im sure forcing the plant back into veg wont damage it, it just might get a little stressed. But if u keep it on 18/6 it will revert back to veg until u think its time to flower
good luck

:joint:yeah im a stick with it. Even if i dont get much yield on this plant its cool because im already learning so much on my first grow. Im going to try and let it go all the way and hopefully get at least something out of it that i can smoke. If not like i said my second grow should go better. Hey Krypt so now that i've switch pots, today i started to see that the bottom of the plant the leaves are turning yellow (hopefully she aint dying on me). I remember reading that when this happens to use nutes. To add nutes 1/2 strength every 2 or 3 waterings. Am i just dumb cause i really dont know what that means (1/2 strength):?. Wich one should of the 2 should i be using to try to fix this problem the ff big grow or ff big bloom ? Here are two pics i took today .

if you're gonna use ff nutes, make sure u use the grow big, its n-p-k ratio is 6-4-4 so it will give your plant the nitrogen it needs. I dont use these exact nutrients but Im pretty sure you can use both at the same time. Go on to the fox farm website(just type in fox farm to google) and look at their feeding schedules, they should guide u.

and 1/2 strength means adding 1 tablespoon instead of two, half of a tablespoon instead of one, etc...
