Is it worth it?

Hey RIU,

It's been a while! I was in a living situation for 2 years that was ill-suited for both indoor and outdoor growing but I've moved back home, where I did my previous grows (links in sig). I'd love to start preparing for this season with another greenhouse grow but here is my dilemma: I have to move back down to Santa Cruz for school in April.

I'm currently looking for a place to live in Santa Cruz that is close enough to my school that would also be a good place to continue growing outdoors in a greenhouse. Provided I can find a living situation in Santa Cruz sufficient enough for a smaller greenhouse, I have been thinking about starting seedlings up here in Marin and moving them down to SC in April. My concern, however, is stressing out the plants with the move. They would be around 2 months old at that time but it can be a 2 hour drive from Marin to Santa Cruz. So anyone have any experience with moving plants such a great distance? Is it worth it for me to start early this year, or should I just wait until I'm in Santa Cruz to start my seedlings?

Advice is greatly appreciated, thanks everyone!

PS this is a picture from my last grow in a greenhouse in Marin: greenhouse.jpg:weed:

Wait, what?

I moved two plants from Connecticut to NYC in a Ford LTD. Had to put them on an angle and they were sticking out the window at the toll bridge :) They did fine after that
