is light really that bad for drying?

I think I read on the sagarmartha website one of his tips is to put a low watt cfl in with drying plants as it will cause the leaves to use up their chlorophyll ... so it couldn't be that bad, but high heat /llight probably would degrade the product a bit..

It is my understanding that thc converts to its psychoactive isomer in darkness while drying and curing.
Yo, you were on to something huge and then you agreed with all the nonsense about the DARKNESS creating the thc. How stupid. I challenge anyone to dry their marijuana under grow lights and then without grow lights. Test the thc. I am convinced you will find more thc where the buds are dried un the grow light (sun sun sun sun sun). Drying under the sun. Drying in the dark. Which one feels correct ? Under the sun. Natural. It's the sun light that created the thc and it's the sun light that releases the thc. Try cooking any weed. It will get you more high. Try it. Everyone has been wrong for decades in the United States of America but not in the rest of the world. Extracts extracts the rest of the world have been practicing for hundreds of years with sun light and fire !

Its better in the dark cos its bacteria that help break down the remaining chlorophyll and stuff like that and they multiply better in those conditions hence why drying in the dark beats drying in lit conditions

If my plant is having a baby and giving flowers (babies) and I say "don't worry, I'm going to keep them in the dark. And I'll make sure no light touches them." Feels wrong.

After its cut down ?? Cos you do realise for example monoterpenes tend to have low boiling points so to preserve those kinda terps as well as to eliminate the chlorophyll left still in the buds darks just better might matter less if you growing something high in sesquiterpenes as they hold better than monos but overall theres a reason folks dry in the dark i aint advocating dark periods at the end while the plants still alive if thats what your meaning ?
