Is my harvest far away?

i look at the condition of the whole plant, but the final verdict is from the trichomes. clear aren't ripe yet, milky is ripe, and amber is over ripe. you want at LEAST 70% milky, the rest split between amber and clear....the plant keeps making new trichs till you chop it, so you'll always have some clear, and there will always be some amber (if the strain hasn't had the trait bred out of it ) by the time you have a good amount of milky trichs.
so once it looks pretty close, i start to check the trichs about every 4 to 5 days, till i get the ratio i like...

So I’ve also heard that indoor trichomes are completely different than outdoor and should be harvested accordingly...should be harvested with more clear/translucent trichomes as opposed to harvesting outdoor where you will get more amber... anyone heard of this?

no....the color comes from chemical reactions within the trichome....they may mature earlier outdoors, under the actual sun, but they still aren't done till they're milky....clear is still not ripe and amber is still over ripe...
the only thing to be aware of is that the trichomes on sugar leaves aren't a valid indicator, you have to look at the trichs on the calyxes. the trich on leaves aren't packed together as densely, and age faster than the ones on the calyxes, so you can have a good percentage of milky and amber on leaves and still be 80% clear on trichs.....

I just had some of the c99 blueberry arrive along with some gg#4xzkittles from I49. Been looking for a strain to pack a punch. Seems alot of other breeders I have used dont seem to have as potent of bud but not sure about I49 strains. Gonna start some of the seeds when I get back to b.c. from Mexico tonite. I have added a pic of a pure blueberry(aka blueberry muffin) from Jordan of the islands.I hope to harvest when I get home. Mind the pic it's from my camera in my tent so u can remotely watch my plants from any location with wifi but it let's me know if they are dieing of thirst when away from extended times. Decent strain but have had an issue with bananas on it so thought I would try the i49 blueberry c99 cross that you have. Have u noticed any bananas on your plants? Not sure if mine were caused due to stress as I'm growing in my tent in a shed so I have a large fluctuation in temp when lights go out but it does look nice. Screenshot_20190406-091054_Photos.jpg

How close would you say I am on my other 3 plants? I already harvested the top colas off of pic 1 and I’m hoping it wasn’t way too early although it sure looked ready but that doesn’t mean much coming from me I’m still trying to figure out what I’m looking at lmao
Honestly looks like 10-14 days maybe. The last picture in particular looks like the bracts (calyxs) are starting to swell. Maybe check the trichomes in 8 days and see how try look. I

Decided to take some big buds down from my pure blueberry(aka blueberry muffin) from joti. As I was seeing a bunch of Amber's starting on the big buds and then i was gonna let all the lower buds grow out. What's everyone think? I also added a new pic I saw at Costco today here in B.C.

Definitely very close you might say you are at the beginning of the harvest window. I still think they would really benefit from another 7-10 days to swell more and ripen fully. There are lots of people that would go ahead and cut them now, hell there are lots of people that would have cut last week because of a patients deficiency. Which leaves you with options.

Cut a plant....
Or all plants...
or
Cut just the top colas and let the bottoms go longer and mature more....

Am I getting closer? I’m really hoping I’m able to chop something this weekend. Each pic is a different plant... they sure look close by eye to me....
When u do end up cutting down you should leave a couple tiny bids on it and throw it outside and see how it does outside. It will re veg and you will end up with a massice plant. I did this with rhe one I just harvested. Left a bunch of lower shrapnel for some shoots to come out of and put it outside already for the summer growing season but it all depends where u live. Spring is alread starting here on vancoubernisland so im not to worried about weather. Just daylight hours but it doesnt really matter since days are getting longer

You replanted the plant outside? I just started a thread with that question

Yup
I believe its called monster cropping. As long as you leave a few flowers on it. It will go back into reveg and you will end up with a beautiful plant. This can take a month or so to get back into veg though. I had to free up room for some other plants in my grow room and didnt have the patience to let these smaller buds do anything. So if igured just try it outdoors for the summer now

And it could be done indoors?

Can take a long time but probably still faster than getting a seed to the same size. I tend to veg a plant take 6 clones off it then put the 1 in flower.if its good i should have a clone to replace it and another one to extremely veg out and mother to clonefeom and just keep flowering rhe rest. Come spring harvest and throw outside but it all depends on the strain and whether it will finish outside but this year i bought a green house and some 50 gallon pots and should be able to finish in it

Its called reveg, MC is pinching stems

Actually Monster cropping is taking a clone from a flowering plant so that it will reveg. Or flowering a clone for a couple weeks and then reveging it so it gets the crazy branching.

Pinching and bending stems is "supercropping".
