is my light too close?

i have a 400 watt MH/hps lamp in my closet. my plants are approx 10 inches away from the fixture and have a fan blowing on the tops of them 24/7. its about 75-80 degrees under the lamp will this burn my babies granted i will move the light when it gets bigger heres a pic

use the hand rule...if you place your hand right about your babies and your hand is at a comfortable temp, your ok

so hows the plants, 10'' seem ok? cuz im gettin a 400w to, i need to kno... but im using a cooltube with a 105cfm ehausting it... so who kno;s mayb i get to put it closer and get them fat nugzzz...!!...g.l
