0a9254c1.jpgI'm 4 weeks into growing pineapple kush in organic soil.., growing inside of a grow box.. My babies are about 6 inches tall with 7 sets of true leaves.. The stalk is thin... I'm not using fertilizer as of yet..just changed lights to start the veggie stage.. Going to start with lights on for 18 and off for 6 hours..This is my first attempt at growing.. Any tips or advice would be appreciated!

a littel small yea .. but nice healthy one .. a littel pale green maybe ?

I think the best thing to do with her right now is to find her a new home as she is or will like to out grow that small pot ..

a nice big pot 3-5 gallon .. with good drain holes in the bottom .. and some nice light soil ..
dont go with the cheap supermarket soil witch often is full of peetmoss and have a PH on less then 6 ..

try to find some with a PH on 6,2-7 and a nice organic one .. maybe with Perlit in it .. coco can also be used .. lega nuts can do the job if you cant get Perlit or coco fibers ..

weed need light soil and dont like to have constand wet feeds so to speak ..

the new soil will also help her with the palegreen color (N. def.) Im sure and you can begin to add nuts after a few weeks .. on half strengs ..

and Im sure a new home with more space will make her take right off (after a few days .. be carefull when repotting .. have the new pots ready and do it carefully can/will stress the plant a littel .. but nothing specialy .. I rearly notice)

a plant will never get much bigger in diremeter then the pots they are in .. and root systems can get pretty big .. rootbound plants will stop the grow or grow realy slow ..

I startet out in cup .. then 3 gallon then 5 .. now Im in 7 galllons

hope this help a bit .. ask if you need anything ..

SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. That's not growing right. Either bring the light closer or get a new and better one. And you need to be using the right lights...CFL, Fluoro, or anything that burns off at blue spectrum...6500k-6700k lights. To grow at minimal rate you need about 3,000-4,000 per square foot. So...get on top of that and your plants should grow right. And after the plant reaches the 4th-6th node you can start using nutes..1/4 strength and build your way up to full strength, and that should help your rate. And if you're going for full organic grow, then go to the organic section of this forum and you'll find a lot of organic nute mixes you can make on your own that are perfect for what you're doing.

Hope that helps, happy growing

GROW BULBS -blue or daylight,

Growing in 6 inch pots.. Water about every 4 days with a cup of water. Water I leave in open container for the 4 days in between to let water come to room temp and let ammonia evaporate..

I would still like em in new pots with fresh soil .. maybe a littel N. Nuts .. realy mild solution ..

when you water (evry 4th days seems ok depending on your temps and humidity) water so you see a good run off (10%) and then let em dry out a littel .. pots need to feel light ..

and no need to let it sit 4 days .. one is enough .. if possible collect rain water .. specialy with only two small plants its easy to collect enough ..
and specialy if you dont have a PH kit to test/correct your tap water ?

need a PH on 6,5 unless your in realy good organic soil/compost with a lot of micro life ..

I bought very good organic soil.. Unfortunatly they are stuck in the 6 inch pots.. I'm going to raise them closer to the lights and see if that helps...

how tall should they be 4 weeks in? How full of vegetation!? What is the best fertilizer to use? Should I put the grow lights back in and let them sit with that light for another 2 weeks!?

yea with my T5HO 27,900 Lumens I keep it between 2 and 4 inch`s away ..

that is wher my light meter tells me the lighs is best (between 5 and 15K Lumens) only small seedlings I keep a bit longer away like 6 inch`s

after 12 inch`s my light meter dont even dectet anything or give a reading ..
