ok, this is my first time growing and all was well with my little plant until 2 weeks ago. it is in its fourth week of flowering and 2 weeks ago it started getting really hot outside (record highs). my plant is in my attic and it gets 100+ degrees up there during the day, i have a fan on it, but it's still hot as hell. most of the leaves on my plant turned brown and everything looks pretty dry and dead; the hairs coming out of the flowers went from white to orange. it was under a 400w HPS lamp, but since my plant started looking bad, i switched back to flourescent lights. i would like to know: a) if it's dead b) if not, what can i do to bring it back? c) what is a cheap way to cool my grow room?

the pic isn't that great, but it's the best i could do...

try immensely lower temps next time. R.I.P.

get exhaust fans for cooling. maybe get an a/c unit if ur goin back up in the attic. try another season too.

Listen to lynch he's right. I might think about moving the grow out of the attic. MJ likes temps in the 75-85 degree area.
