Looks like it got revegged with bud on it, now the bud is dieing. Pull all that dead bud off, if it's brown it's dead. The plant doesn't look dead at all, just the bud on it.
I have revegged a few plants and this what the buds do when it goes back into veg in my experience.

So how would I go about this? Just trim the buds?

And do you believe I can use these buds?

Nah I don't add any chemicals to my grow, so remove the buds that are brown, so it's going to basically start over

yeah as far as bud production it's a start over, but on the plus side the plant has a little size to it.

Also if it's outside SHOULDNT it be dying this time of year? Am I wrong? I'm being honest not a smart ass lol
u may be right, I don't have a lot of experience with it. Just once, does look like it. Mine was caused by not applying BT and moths layed eggs, eggs hatched and ate their way out of my buds, causing them to wilt and die.
But it did not effect all of the bud on my plants, just where the bud worms ate their way out.
so... maybe u should be careful before ingesting those buds, fungus isn't something you want in your lungs IMO, and probably sciences opinion too.

Botrytis. Bud rot is what I believe I'm looking at guys.
could be, but does it effect all the buds at once like this? I'm not so sure either, and I don't want anyone introducing harmful spores into their lungs because I said it's ok to use the brown bud. I personally would try and avoid smoking fungus.

It most likely started happening over a widespread area but very small almost unnoticed at first. Your looking at nice bud on Monday and by that Saturday your like hmmm something looks weird but I can't place it. Then, the following Thursday your saying shit,! What's happening. I ve had it happen to me outside grow.

Honestly guys this plant doesn't have a infestation literally not worms no nothing, I really believe it's the cause of the lighting I fucked up with my light schedule

They have bud rot wich is a mold. You can smoke it but it will taste bad and can give you a lung infection or Bronchitis both of them suck. I'm only saying I what I would personally do. Start over. I'm sorry my guy that really sucks but hey, you did great at growing a plant and it produce flowers. Botrytis is hard to deal with and outside grows can be more susceptible. I have never personally seen it on an inside crop
