Is My Plant Ready to Harvest?

So my Carmelicious Plants have been flowering for about 6 weeks and one particular plant has some pretty nice buds on it. This is my first grow, so I would love some advice on if this plant is nearing harvest time or not! Thanks

YOU are pretty much the only one who can answer that buddy. We cant put a mag glass to our computer screen to check the trichs bro. Look to see if they are clear, milky or brown? You want the MAJORITY milky while some will be amber colored. If they are all clear you have time to go yet, if they are amber then you've waited to long. Hope this helps.

i cant really tell by those pics...

get a 30x jewlers loup, look at the trich's... If they are cloudy to amber then i would say ur ready...

---just my opinion---

Depends how u like it, couchlock or headie...

It would be best if you invested in a microscope 30x-50x and take a closer look at the trichomes hairs. Me personally i harvest when my Trichomes mostly milky with a few amber trichome.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the advice. I will invest in a magnifying glass for sure. Also excited that the buds should get a lot bigger :)

One thing you should always remember is.. the breeders that you get your beans from.. they have what they call their "Flower Times' for each strain that they sell right? Well, lets say they put down 7 weeks for your strain that your growing/ordering. That doesn't mean that yours will finish in exactly 7 weeks bro.. they're estimate flowering times will be different than what you should expect. You should normally add one to two weeks, depending on the setup that your currently using.

Also, all breeders and their 'Flowering Times' that they list for each strain.. are also considered "Under Optimum Conditions".. meaning absolutely perfect conditions for the plant.. each and every minute of its life all the way until harvest time. So.. yeah.. and we all know that having a absolutely perfect growing environment.. is as rare as seeing Bigfoot walking through the woods.. it just doesn't happen.

Just something to keep in mind bro.. ;)

Lastly.. whenever you "think" your plants are done, give them another week and see how they look.

peace.

I know im bringin up old threads, but I hear people saying this alot, (the buds arent big enough so there not ready) it really doesnt have anything to do with the size, ya can have massive buds but shit weed or ya can have small buds and have super weed size does not indicate when ur buds will be ready, the only thing that can tell if ur buds r ready is u, like blokes have been saying on here grab a jewelers loupe and check for 50/50 cloudy and amber trichomes that should be ur ripeness, goodluck to anyone else who reads this.
