is non drip gloss paint safe to use ?

hi all , as the title aks is non drip gloss safe to use to paint the inside of a grow box ? as in it won't give off fumes due to heat and damage the plant

alright then cheers for the reply , can i just ask why plain flat is better ? just curious and i found a spare tin of non drip gloss thats sat right next to me as well as some white ready mixed poster colour :lol:

quick bump since im tempted to use non drip gloss if it doe'snt affect the plant and not to fussed if it is only a little less efficient than flat white ?

Hey, well im sure someone will correct me but im sure that its not so much it wont work, its just flat white reflects more, like 10% more i think......
also with gloss paint i guess if you dont evenly coat the box it will create hot spots....
but yeah it will reflect light, just not the most...

cheers bunnyface, ill see if i can get some flat white somewhere for cheap if not ill just use up the gloss , can always strip and repaint and my setup is only gonna use cfls so hopefully there won't be too many hotspots and its gonna have a few pc fans bringing fresh air in :cool:
