Is Obama competent?

Yes, well, when ur generals implore you for two months that they need more troops.... the COMMANDER in CHIEF needs to make a decision.

Obama seems uninterested in the military..... but there's one problem .. we're at war.

He's a waffle...... one way or the other...... a decision should be made.... it should have been made months ago.....

A plan.... for our young men and women over there.... they deserve no less than a plan. They deserve competence.

I would feel a little better if I thought he were trying to make a decision. He isn't. Look at the stuff he has been doing in those months of indecision. He can't decide on a surge in Afghanistan but he was quick to decide on a surge against Fox News. He has decided not to decide and we will be seeing much more of that from him.

Now the EU has called on Obama to increase troops.... now outside of the pure hypocrisy that the EU has no intentions of sending their own troops.... it shows the total lack of leadership from Obama.

The EU is nudging him in public!! The EU!!!

We couldn't possibly have a worse wartime President.

Even if he really wanted to, there are only so many brigades of light infantry that can be deployed. Armor and mech. units can only operate in a very small portion of that country. It's a logistics nightmare.

It's the plan of action of the troops currently there that matters. Sending more troops doesn't matter when you've already limited yourself as to what they can do, and he didn't have anything to do with that. He could help change it though. I agree that he should be more firm in dealing with the entire situation.

Man, FOX news people crack me up. Do you watch The Simpsons for life lessons as well?

It's amazing how "informed" the right has become. Where were these people when Bush was in office? Run for office CrackerJax, clearly your suggested way of dealing with the most powerful people in the world will work without any mishaps.

We're (Left, Center, Moderate Rights) all glad you've started reading, now you just have to learn how to accurately analyze factually material, opposed to skewing parts of it for your argument. You've almost evolved to the standards of the 21st century. Keep up the good work and remember "God Bless America, My Home, Sweet Home!"

LoL

PS: The icing on the cake was arguing against government spending, then arguing against a simple reduction of government spending (F-22's). I feel like you have to learn to pick your battles CJ, let the F22's go and stick to your original argument. Although it has been very entertaining analyzing your train of thought. Keep preaching the "truth" brotha! lol.

According to FOX polls, roughly 50% of their watchers/listeners are either Democrats or Independents. Could that be what is worrying the Obama administration so much about FOX? I mean, God forbid that those who have been in support of Obama may learn that the one they supported is out to destroy the very thing that made America the engine of prosperity ... Capitalism! :blsmoke:

What...??? Wordz doesn't know what he's talking about??? duh...

Obama doesn't want the other news agencies following Foxs' lead. that ACORN story was the limit for Obama. He was pissed that other networks ran with the story.

Obama knows he can't really muzzle FOX, but he thinks he can muzzle the rest. The attack is really on CNN, MSNBC, etc. etc. The govt. usually talks in opposites.

They won't say it in public, but they know now that protecting Obama's flank will be a 24/7 job .. or else a cold wind will blow down upon them from Capitol hill.

My post was 4 paragraphs? Now, we all know who didn't pass lower division writing here. (Is this a paragraph?)

Yes, you bring up a good point. I'm sure Democrats do watch FOX, however, that does not mean they subscribe to the FOX propaganda. The same could be said for MSNBC, plenty of Republicans watch MSNBC but they do not subscribe to their propaganda. By assuming that the viewer only watches what they believe in, the overall analysis becomes extremely skewed. Therefore, your argument holds little weight.

Side Note: By the way, who only watches what they believe? It seems like that would be counter productive. Wouldn't you want to hear both sides of an argument?

Now, it certainly is interesting that you would approach the argument from this stance. "More people watch FOX (even Dems), so FOX is accurate and their view is correct." Of course, I'm paraphrasing you. It is also interesting that you didn't think my previous post had any relevant information, because you just exhibited the exact behavior I was describing.

So, again, I will post: "now you just have to learn how to accurately analyze factually material, opposed to skewing parts of it for your argument....it has been very entertaining analyzing your train of thought."

Also, if you bought that ACORN story, you really need to read up. That was debunked within the first week. Next you're going to be preaching that Bush dropped the WTC towers. :: hint :: You're tipping on the c.r.a.z.y. side there CJ. :: tip :: Stick with the good argument, government spending. At least Bush set that up for the Right to harp on. LOL

Yes he is competent. Its not like he is running the mom and pop store. Knee jerk reactions and lack of thinking by the prior administration is what got him elected. Both parties have a lot to be desired. I think it ts time for a viable 3rd party choice. If you look at the tone of our country over the last decade we are certainly no longer the UNITED States of America. Neither side is always right but they sure act like it.

Is Obama competent?

Facts, data, and easily available information would tell me that he is competent.

However, I do not like the color of his skin.

Therefore, he is not competent.
